I was wondering what cartoon you have to watch no matter what. The one cartoon that you watch that you can't miss. For me it's Johnny Bravo. My all time favorite cartoon ever! I watch it no matter what. I watch it every time its on boomerang I just can't miss it when it's on. How about you? What's the one cartoon you can't miss?

I'm assuming we're just talking about classic/retro cartoons, I'm gonna say the original Transformers cartoon. I don't necessarily watch it frequently. But if I had to go the rest of my life knowing that I could never watch another episode of the original Transformers cartoon, well I don't know. I do recognize that it's not the greatest cartoon ever. But it was such a huge part of my childhood. And I do still enjoy watching it as an adult. I just HAVE to have episodes of that show available to me to occasionally watch.

Yes im talking about cartoons that are only in reruns or not on at all but can be watched from a dvd etc. And i know how you feel. The same way you need to see TRANSFORMERS is the same way i am about JOHNNY BRAVO.

As far as the one cartoon I couldn't live without watching (retro) it would have to either be the original TMNT or quite possibly Tom & Jerry, as far as today's toons go I would have to say it's any variation of Ben 10 and maybe Chaotic: M'Arillion Invasion. But I would never want to be seperated from animation, it's the main platform in which I get storytelling of anykind aside from comics and some manga.

I absolutely love Looney Tunes and the classic Disney Shorts. They are in constant rotation in my DVD player.

This one's easy - Laff-a-Lympics all the way! I really wish Warner would release this on DVD already.

I don't think I have a cartoon that is so close to me.

Looney Tunes; especially the old ones like Book Revue and Hollywood Steps Out.
I always loved Captain Caveman and the Ant and the Aardvark when i was a kid.
These days, its Robot Chicken.

Wow, that is a tough one, since there are so many cartoon shows that I love so much, but my most favorite, I would have to say is "Spongebob Squarepants", whenever I feel down, it makes me feel good, and the plot could be about anything, even if it is random.

The Tom & Jerry Show (from '75!)! I have a handful of these dubbed from VHS onto DVD-R/+R. And it's a month away from the official DVD release of Tom & Jerry/Grape Ape on Saturday Morning Cartoons - 1970s Vol. 2; I'm on pins and needles over this! :D:anime::)

"Gargoyles" - It was just so well done; deep, fascinating, thought provoking. Strong characters and three dimensional antagonists. Literate without being preachy. All that Shakespeare.
This is such a no brainer for me.

I die without Father of the Pride! :D
For the more classic, it's Beethoven.

This is a hard question...but here's what I would have to say:
Star Trek: The Animated Series
C.O.P.S (or CyberCops) (come on Shout! Factory, release the rest of the series)
Darkwing Duck
X-Men (90's series)
Spider-Man'67
Spider-Man'94

Well in retrospect, if they didn't exist we wouldn't know that we couldn't live without them, would we? :p
Nonetheless, one cartoon that is really important to me is Scooby-Doo. It's the one that I've grown up with and always loved no matter what. And it inspired me to love cartoons the way I do today.

Looney Tunes, MGM Avery and classic Goofy cartoons...I watch at least one of these about 7-8 times a day.

I assume you mean the one classic cartoon you can't live without watching?
Well, I'm sure I could live without it, but my favorite retro cartoon is Tom & Jerry. I've loved that show since I was little. It's never failed to make me .

Garfield and Friends. It epitomized all the good things about an early 90s cartoon: rapid-fire comedy, total destruction of the fourth wall (a trait it shared with the strip, actually), a great theme (at least the "We're Ready to Party" one) and U.S. Acres fit into it well, even if there was a touch of adaptation decay (for instance, Roy and Lanolin were a lot nastier in the strip).
Very close second would be the Angry Beavers. I loved the voice acting, the frenetic pace, the loose animation... and I'm really hating myself for having not tried to tape more of it.
