I used to hate Ed, Edd n Eddy when it first came on, but eventually it hooked me in and became one of my favorite cartoons of all time.

I use to dislike Total Drama Island and Johnny Test plus Jimmy Two-Shoes and then two (or three months) later, they became my favorite shows currently. This also happened with Chowder cause back then I thought the show would be weird but it is hilarious now. Too bad it's done in production.

Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: Mainly because of that first episode.

Chowder: Used to think it was stupid, and now I kinda like it. Same for Flapjack.

Used to King of the Hill was boring. But in time, I came to appreciate it for its characters.

For me its Pepper Ann. I guess I didn't hate it, but it was my least favorite of the One Saturday Morning shows. It wasn't until I got Toon Disney I started liking it.

I used to hate Ed, Edd n Eddy when it first came on, but eventually it hooked me in and became one of my favorite cartoons of all time.
Yeah me too. The original commercials for it made it look very unappealing

Same here for Ed Edd n Eddy, never watched it as a kid.

I also never was into Spider-Man: TAS until I saw it on Disney XD,
the same goes for Static Shock.

When I first saw Johnny Test on Kids WB, I thought that it was the single stupidest show on the air, but after I watched it again (in reruns) on Cartoon Network, I gained a new found appreciation for the series. I don't love it, mind you (ironically, my least favorite character on Johnny Test is Johnny himself, but the rest of the cast, I like), but Test is an OK show in small doses.

Yugioh GX.
Because when it was first introduced, i had not ever seen the very first episode before. Was something else, i just can't remember what, but i would think that it was some kind of big rip-off of the original Yugioh done by some other company or something.

I just did not know for awhile, so i did not like GX, but eventually i did learn finally, and quickly gained intrest intstantly by about the time the 2nd season started with that sotorius guy, by then i was in love with this series as much as the original yugioh. :)

Dragon Ball Z for me. When I first watched some of it I thought that it was really stupid and just about over powered men that looked constipated all of the time.

I watched the original Dragon Ball and enjoyed it and then I gave DBZ an actual chance and enjoyed it. Although now I can see its real flaws.

At first i didn't like Courage The Cowardly Dog, The Powerpuff Girls, Total Drama Island because I thought these show were horrible to watch, now I really enjoy them. It has really nice joke and motivation.

Flapjack... I remember seeing the last 30 seconds of the sneak peeks they aired in early 2008 prior to new episodes of Foster's. My first impression was that it was quite possibly the vilest, most disgusting thing I've ever seen from a children's network, and that Cartoon Network had actually managed to sink even lower than I could've ever imagined.

But eventually, I broke down and caught a rerun some months after it premiered. The segments I watched were OK, but it took me a few more reruns before I looked past the grotesque designs and began to discover the true comedic brilliance of the show.

I used to HATE Total Drama Island, but then I lost the remote while watching 6teen, and the episode with Chef doing the recap came on afterwards.
And that got me interested, because Chef Hatchet is awesome.

For a while, I couldn't stand Family Guy. Thought it was the dumbest thing I'd ever seen...

Then I somehow became addicted to it.

I'm really starting to appreciate The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, or rather, certain episodes of it. "Keeper of the Reaper" and the one where Mandy enters the beauty contest are sheer comedy genius, and the specials "Big Boogey Adventure" and "Underfist" are terrific. But while the show was still being produced, you couldn't pay me to watch it.

I'm also starting to notice the inventive animation of Ed, Edd and Eddy. Although it's still kind of tough to look at.

I avoided The Spectacular Spiderman because there have been some really craptacular animated versions of the superhero. But lately I've gotten into it. It's got a very spare design, but it's solid, and the writing is above par.

And Futurama is growing on me. I just saw "Wild Green Yonder" tonight, and I like it even better than "Bender's Big Score". I'm looking forward to the new episodes. I'm convinced now that the show deserves a second chance.

I use to not be able to sit through an episode of Stoked but after watching the latest episode on Cartoon Network, I found a liking to the show. I also noticed that the animation and characters are more appealing to me than 6Teen. I also hated Star Wars: The Clone Wars when it first premiered on Cartoon Network but after watching reruns on [adult swim] I started to enjoy it.

Chowder and Flapjack annoyed me at first, but I warmed up to the both of them once I watched them in a marathon one Sunday last year....now I love them! Another show would be TMNT BTTS, at first I was totally against it and thought it was stupid and then I finally came around after an episose where Casey proposed to April.......lol.

I wouldn't say I hated them, but back when I was a kid I disregarded action shows like Batman: The Animated Series and Dragonball Z, simply because I was into comedy at that age. Now BTAS is one of my favorites, and I immensly enjoy DBZ.

I also originally greeted Flapjack and 6teen with disdain, but now they're starting to grow on me.

When The Oblongs first aired on the WB, I thought it was pure dreck and never watched anything beyond the first episode. When it came to [adult swim], I saw more episodes and discovered I didn't hate it as much. The Oblongs still isn't a favorite show of mine, but I can sit through it for 22 minutes and not complain.

X-Men: Evolution. I didn't like the idea of Cyclops not being in charge (him being my favorite X-Man, at least back in the days I read comics), and of course the presence of Wolverine (my least favorite X-Man ...) was points off, but they did well by Cyclops and turned down Wolverine's jerkitude to 'gruff uncle' levels instead of 'total buttweasel' levels.

I don't think I've used the term hate for these shows, but I do recall shows that I didn't like at first and then later grew to like them.

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX: I thought that it had a decent start and all, but then I started to dislike it more as the first season continued, especially with Jaden taking up all of the spotlight and most of the other characters pushed away into the background. However, I thought that the series was getting better around season two and after rewatching most of season one on DVD last year, I enjoyed some of the episodes more than I remembered. So, I pretty much went from disliking this series to loving it by mid season two.

Chaotic: Again, I didn't hate this show, but I thought that it was kind of dull. MI has definitely made me like the show more, especially with the recent episodes airing on Cartoon Network.

TDI: At first, I thought that I wasn't going to like this show, but it turns out that I eventually did after seeing more of the characters. I wouldn't call it one of my favorite shows, but it is a nice and enjoyable show for me to watch on Thursday nights.

Batman Beyond- I found I could never get into Batman Beyond due to it being to cheesy in my opinion, but watching the Joker returns movie and a few reruns and I think its one of my faves.

Mike Lu and Og- I always found it to childish, even when I was a child but sooner or later I just got into it.

Spongebob Squarepants - Wrote it off as just another lame kiddie show. Then in 2007 my brother's girlfriend moved in with us. It was one of her favorites, so as a result my brother started watching it, and in turn I started seeing it more and more. And the more I saw of it, the more I was cracking up. Still don't watch it regularly, and usually can't take more than 1-2 episodes at a time, but I've been pretty amused by it over the last two years now. :)

But.... i LOVE that boomhomwer guy though. So i only tune into the show on adult swim just to wait to see if he ever talks once in awhile. Because i love his screwed up talking style where i can't ever understand what the heck he's saying. It's enertaining. :) That and only that, about the show :)

King of the Hill. I always found it dull, but lately, I just.. get it.

I find that happened to a lot of people. It happened to me. If you go in expecting something along the lines of Simpsons or even Judge's own Beavis and Butt-head, you're going to be disappointed. I find KOTH to be most appealing to older viewers and those who are looking for something more intelligent than pop culture references, scatological humor, awful puns and sight gags. KOTH trusts it's audience to be intelligent enough to understand it's slice of life style of humor, a style of humor that's mostly told from an adult perspective. At 17 I didn't get King of the Hill. At 30 I can see myself and my world very clearly in most of these characters. I see myself in Hank and Bill. I know lots of adults like Peggy. All these characters and their backstories are fleshed out and adhered to in ways the Simpsons could never do because their characters are treated like walking punchlines who exist to spout catch phrases. Although the characters don't really age, there's still a sense of character arcs and growth on the show and it's nice that this past season they've been tying a lot of the little things together.

I also appreciate the King of the Hill doesn't beat viewers over the head with it's humor the way the Simpsons does, as if their viewers are a bunch of morons who are incapable of getting jokes without them being explained.

1st time I saw Flapjack I didn't like it, but after giving it a few more chances, I rather enjoy it.

another show would be Hamtaro, at 1st i thought...what the heck was a show like this doing on Toonami, but the More I watched it the more I came to love the show. In fact now I even miss it, To bad the DVD's are nowhere to be found nowadays, wich is ironic considering my local Dollar General had em for 5 bucks about 4 years back...But Sadly I had no interset in buyin em then.

Beavis & butthead. As a kid when my older Cousin 1st showed me this, I thought it was just Stupid, but again the mare i watched the Fonder I grew of it. In all honsety Probably the only show I watched on MTV i actually liked.

Yugioh 5ds: At 1st i thought the Idea of Dueling on a Motercycle was stupid & Gimmicky! But now I decently enjoy the show! (Still nothing beats the origional, or Pegasus!)

The only others i can think of would be Tottaly spies, I thought it was just a cheesy anime style-charlies angle rip-off, wich it kind of is, but its still denently entertaining in SMALL doses

& Code Lyoko, I did'nt like this Eather at 1st, but I think thats because i disliked Miguzi in general for Kicking Toonami to Saturday nights. But as the others, the more I watched, the more I liked!

Metalocalypse. I saw somebody with a Metalocalypse avatar on a forum, so I figured it must be a good show if it has fans. I saw an episode and absolutely hated it. Then one day, nothing was on, so I just turned it to [adult swim] and watched an episode. It was the Family Reunion one. I loved it and instantly became a fan.

Same deal with Venture Bros. I saw the premiere and hated it. I came across a lot of Venture fans online and couldn't fathom why people liked this awful show. I lost cable shortly after, and didn't get it turned back on for a few years. Venture Bros was on one day. I was wondering why such an awful show hadn't gotten cancelled yet. nothing else was on, so I sat and watched it. I can't remember which episode it was, but it got me hooked.

New Adventures of He-Man. I had a pretty strong dislike for it when I was young, but decided to give it another chance. I recently purchased both NA sets at a really cheap price for new on e-bay. If one treats it as its own show and not in the universe of the other cartoon, then I think more people would have positive feelings towards this show. The continuity is pretty good and Skeletor has some good zingers. I still don't like the look of some of the characters, but I like the show.

I suppose i can admit that i found the ever-so-bashed Brandy and Mr Whiskers to be a supprisingly well-written show after having initally rejected it due to it's unoriginal style. Same thing happened with Phineas and Ferb. I guess i should start giving new Disney Channel shows the benefit of the doubt from now on.

I really couldn't fathom why Dexter was so funny. But one day I decided to watch & to me its as good as Rockos Modern Life.
Same goes for Chowder, though to me its due to the commercials that make it look outright corny.

Not to say I hated them but Ben 10 & Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go! were a couple shows I really had no interest in until I decided to check them out when nothing else was on. I wouldn't say that I hated Teen Titans but I more or less pre-judged the show based on the characters in it (Robin for example), I just couldn't see myself getting into a show where Robin is the lead hero. Luckily for me, Cartoon Network has been airing the show a lot lately and I can say that I have not only given the show a fair shot, but I have grown to become a huge fan of it and I can't wait to see it again when I'm done watching an episode.

Getting the show on DVD will fix that little addiction. :raven::robin:
