This is the talkback thread for Paley Center Hosts Salute to Hanna-Barbera Through Sept. 27, 2009 (http://news.toonzone.net/articles/30883/paley-center-hosts-salute-to-hanna-barbera-through-sept.-27-2009).
I wish I knew where this Paley Center is. It would be interesting to see thier cartoons from past to present, the art exibition, and parake in the panel disscussion. I am a big fan of Hanna Barbera cartoons, anybody else want to share thier thoughts.

The Paley Center, I believe, has ties to UCLA.

The Paley Center has no real ties to UCLA. It used to be the Museum of Television and Radio before they renamed it in honor of William Paley, founder of CBS.
There are two locations, one in Manhattan, and the other in Beverly Hills, just off of Sunset. I've been to that one. It's fun to go and view some of the thousands of old TV programs they have in their library, some extremely rare.
This exhibit is going on at the Beverly Hills location.

Mark Evanier had some comments about an event held for this show (http://www.newsfromme.com/archives/2009_08_22.html#017596). Wait'll you hit the part where he crashes the party with a little help from...
Nah. I'm not going to spoil that. It's too much fun to read his account of it.
