So, I'm making an indie video game that will have animated cut scenes. These will be for the most part crude and reflect upon the simple graphic style of my game. However, I'm not to confident with my animation ability. I'm using Flash to draw and animate everything and I've used the program before, but I feel I could still use a few pointers.
Anyone know where I could find a nice beginner's guide or two? Something that expects you to have had a bit of experience with the program.

Flash animation can be looked at as a combination of hinged paper cutout animation with the added ability to squash and stretch the pieces, with both limited and full drawn animation techniques.
Since you know Flash I assume you already know about object hierarchies so I won't go into that.
Basic animation knowledge is pretty universal. The Preston Blair series on film animation published by Walter Foster (http://www.amazon.com/Animation-Learn-Animate-Cartoons-Cartooning/dp/0929261518/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1249935039&sr=8-2) provide good foundations.

I've been scouring the net for assorted Flash related bits. You can start with these places.
http://flashcartoons.org
http://flashkit.com
http://www.kongregate.com/
http://coldhardflash.com
These are but a few of what I've stumbled across, but they may help you find what you're looking for.
Also you may want to check out the book "The Animator's Survival Kit" or similar if you're not too familiar with the basics of animation. Even the slightest bit of understanding can make a big difference.
