Oh we're done professionally. We can still be acquaintances but we're done professionally.Does this mean we can't still be friends?

That one Cheerios commercial with the little kid preparing the cereal around the overnight, and giving it to his parents.

Really? I mean, I would never wake my parents that early because it's really, really, really stupid.

If the parents would be waking up, it would work nicely, but this is making the kid into a narc.

Sure but professionally it's over pal. :D

It's just that I've always wanted to be in an action figure commercial when I was young but it sadly never happened. :crying:

Well....little kids are a little...."stupid". But because they dont "know any better" it's considered cute. Eh... its a little kid, whatcha gonna do? I hate shampoo commercials Which reminds me...I was watching this one commercial with my pops and it was some ish with mushrooms in it. He was talking about "they put any damn thing in your hear". Lulz ensued.

Those Esurance ads are some of the worst and obnoxious commercials on television right now. I know these ads get a lot of love on these forums and I have no idea why, they are incredibly cliche and cheesy. The animation is incredibly lame, the girl's voice is annoying as hell, and the whole "OMG sexy female spy" thing has been done to death even more so than Star Wars references.

I don't see why these ads would even convince someone to join this insurance company.

Especially one of the more recent ones where the Esurance girl does nothing but just tap a cymbal while some guy sings an annoying song about his insurance problems and how he switched to Esurance. Together with the Progressive ads, they're the two most annoying ad campaigns on TV for me right now. :ack:

But the cavemen are funny. The cavemen and gecko should team up and burn the money stack. Not that a team up is necessary for such an easy task but you get what I mean.
Personally, I still miss the "Stupid Button" ads from before Geico even HAD the gecko.

My #1 most hated commercial is a radio commercial for "Kars 4 Kids." It was a little kid singing "1-877-Kars4Kids! K-A-R-S Kars 4 Kids! 1-877-Kars4Kids. Donate your car today!" then a middle-aged guy singing the same lyrics, then a random voiceover saying that you can get a vacation voucher for donating your car, then the two singing the lyrics AGAIN. Back when 105.7FM was WHFS and an all-talk station, they played this commercial every other commercial break. Now that they're sports talk, they play it less, but they still play it and it's still annoying.

My pet peeve on TV right now is that stupid "AIDS Rap" commercial. The commercial itself it borderline offensive, but the stupid CGI teens running around are so lifeless it's not even funny. And they're all wearing these stupid grins, even as they're lying in bed about to die. My god it's just horrible.

The M&M commercial where the Red M&M is running on the grocery store conveyor belt. It's short, but the M&M's panting and the scanner beeping is annoying.

Yeah, I loved those, too. I liked the "shifty" animation they used. I think I wound up with a couple of them on VHS while I was recording stuff.

I just saw a Corn Pops commercial with a Corn Pop receiving a scary phone call. After seeing a commercial there's a knock on the door and there's milk bottles (with faces) and then a bunch of zombie milkmen start surrounding the Corn Pop. So far it's not so bad. I dig stuff like this. What ruined it was the milkmen singing "gotta have my pops" in a doo-wop fashion. To top it off it's not even close to October so it feels out of place.

Ugh, the idiot dad ads from Burger King are back with a vegence. It involves the idiot dad dressed like a GI Joe(or what Stephen Sommers views as GI Joe) only to get stuck. Then he falls to the ground. Then the sprinklers turn on. Then I groan in disgust at how that they still do these.

Speaking of GI Joe, I really don't like how they play American Badass in the ads. They took almost of the "American" of this franchise.

But, from the look of the commercial, it was really early, as in overnight early. Would you wake your parents at around 5:00 AM just to eat a cereal? That's technically overeacting.

I wouldn't at my current age but at his age I probably would have. Don't tell me you've never done something you thought was ok because you were too young to know any better. The point of the commercial is that he's trying to do something nice for his parents because he loves them. He wasn't thinking about the time.

DirecTV has single-handedly pushed me into being officially annoyed with Peter Jackson's King Kong.

"If he were evolved, he could enjoy DirecTV which has dozens of HD channels and is way cheaper than cable!" Are they even TRYING anymore?!

They may just as well have tried it with other movies, like with:

Slimer from Ghostbusters:
"If he were alive, he could enjoy DirecTV which has dozens of HD channels and is way cheaper than cable!"

Simba from The Lion King:
"If he were a human being, he could enjoy DirecTV which has dozens of HD channels and is way cheaper than cable!"

Any character from Ben Hur:
"If we all were living hundreds of years in the future after the invention of television and the advancements of digital technology and mass communication, we could all enjoy DirecTV which has dozens of HD channels and is way cheaper than cable!"

I normally like those DirecTV ads (loved the Back to the Future one with Christopher Lloyd and Aliens with Sigourney Weaver) and was looking forward to their return because it'd been awhile since the last one. Then a week or so ago I saw the one with King Kong and was like, "That's it?" Definite disappointment, and I tend to prefer those ads when they user older movies anyway.

That's such an awkward dub, especially once you've already seen the proper scene that the line really comes from, which is just a dialogue scene between Destro and Gen. Hawk. It's still kind of funny seeing Duke head-butting him, though. Good thing Destro wasn't wearing his mask just then. :D

And I also kind of like that the ads are mostly concentrated on variations of the same few scenes so that a lot of the movie will be unspoiled.

Sketchers has really done it this time. They have a new shoe called Pretty Talls, and all through the commercial they just show the shoes to another cheesy jingle. But then they go and slap you in the face by only showing the character who is promoting the shoe at the end... and she does NOTHING!

And then they have the balls to say "Nay nay nay nay nay" at the end of the song. It's like they know that we're getting annoyed by their spiraling atrocious commercials and they're teasing us. They're teasing us man! And I don't like it!

The anti-piracy advertisement that aired here in Puerto Rican theatres with a mother getting snidely scolded by her snotty, self-righteous kids... it's HORRIBLE. Fortunately, it seems to have finally stopped judging by the last few times I've gone to the movies.

And speaking of snotty kids, there's also a recent local Subway commercial in which a mother is bullied around by her disgustingly bratty girl who makes endless demands and requests for lunch. The girl remarks about how her father is so much better than her, and then it abruptly cuts to the Subway restaurant with the girl and her father eating happily there, with the commercial smugly bragging about how Subway always gives the customer what they want. So I'm supposed to accept and laugh at the parental abuse just like that? Screw you, Subway. That girl needs a slap in the face and maybe a superkick by Shawn Michaels.

A recent commercial I've come to hate with an extreme, bloodthirsty passion is the two guys with their own amateur radio station and one guy keeps yelling "SHUNSHINE!" I have no idea what product they're advertising, because by what seems like the hundredth "SHUNSHINE" my blood has boiled to a deafening rage. All I know other than "SHUNSHINE" is there is a very hot girl in a bikini that gets far too little screentime.

The new DQ Blizzard commercial. "GET THE THIN MINTS!!!" Especially annoying when it suddenly happens in the background without being aware the commercial is on.

The DQ Girl Scout commercials tend to be annoying enough in general, but this one is absolutely horrible. Admittedly, I think the guy did an entertaining job with the self-yelling bit, but overall the commercial is guilty of severe annoyance.

One "joy" of now getting MLB Extra Innings is that you get to see some commercials from around the nation that you wouldn't normally see (when the service actually lets you see them though). Unfortunately, their commercials are just as bad as the ones here. My most notorious one is whenever I watch a Rays or Marlins telecast and I see an ad from Maroone's, who uses the Ghostbusters theme. Now, we have a car dealership here that uses the Ghostbusters theme too, but with no new lyrics. Not only do the lyrics suck, but they even play the whole damn jingle when going to a commercial break. I don't know how those 12 or 13 Florida baseball fans stand it.

The other one I just saw this afternoon watching the Angels telecast. It was for a restaurant named Norm's, and it starts out in 1949. A geeky fat guy is sweating over what to pick for the breakfast meal, while across the table a couple stares dreamily into each others' eyes as they pick the Grand Slam-ripoff breakfast the ad is promoting. All well and good, until they skip to 2009 and the guy is JUST NOW deciding to get the Grand Slam-ripoff breakfast meal and the perfect couple are now skeletons. Seriously, what the hell?

That's why I think the idea of having mandatory school uniforms in schools is a good one. If all the students are dressed the same, no kids would be able to make fun of other kids because of their "lame" clothes. Of course, jerky kids would just find some other reason to make fun of their peers, but that's another story.

If all the students are dressed the same, no kids would be able to make fun of other kids because of their "lame" clothes. Of course, jerky kids would just find some other reason to make fun of their peers, but that's another story.

I wore uniforms in jr high. Believe me, they'll find a way :D.

I used to hate that idea, that the school would take away my Led Zeppelin shirt and make me wear a uniform. But, since I'm no longer in high school, I don't care. Besides, I'm pretty sure the next school that I'm going to in a few months won't let me wear Zeppelin shirts anyways, but I made the choice to go there.

Also when we were in high school there were some people locally that thought that the kids shouldn't be allowed to drive their cars to school. Man, that one outraged me at the time, but now I think it's good idea as well. I live a few blocks from a high school, and sometimes it's hard to go anywhere, what with all the kids zipping around everywhere. And you know that they don't drive the speed limit or stop at stop signs, and there have been several wrecks in the area as well.

Maybe I'm just becoming an old man too fast.

I'm not 100% sure if someone complained but it's weird how they never show it anymore yet at the end of the commercials you'll still see the normal boy and the Fruit boy shake hands. Not to mention that it's obviously the funniest one so why not show it?

I also am getting sick of the Verizon ad that ALWAYS airs before Nick @ Nite starts.

"MOM JUST BECAUSE WE'RE FACEBOOK FRIENDS DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN WRITE I LOVE YOU ALL OVER MY WALL."Same here except I think the son is more annoying. If his dad wants to make unimportant tweets, that's ok. No one says your tweets have to be 'breaking news' or anything. The kids should take advantage of the situation and throw a wild party. Eventually all of the partying will snap the parents back to their normal selves (in theory).

The new Fruit of the Loom ad with Apple Guy strumming a guitar and singing a song about back to school as he and the others dance down a school hallway. This. And I'm also tired of the Sears Don't Go Back...Arrive ads. I'm 10000% sure most kids don't want to wear that kind of clothing. ANd I'm sure REAL rockstars have better taste in clothes than that.

It's an ad for Old Spice deodorant. It always appears 3 times during a break. Yes, it's annoying, not to mention kind of gross; the words look like they're made of whipped cream or something. Those creepy voices reading the URL don't make them any less cringe-worthy, as well as how there's no music or other sounds at all. I have to look away whenever those spots come on, especially at night.

The absolute WORST commercial i've ever seen is one someone's probably already mentioned, but i'm going to say it anyway. The HEAD ON commercial. It got pulled, but all it consisted of was someone saying head on apply directly to forehead like 15 freaking times and then another women saying the same thing except with "The" before "Forehead". I agree with everyone else on those sears ads. The worst one was that pop ad. You know what I hate? 2012. The latest ad promoting the movie have gone Augmented Reality/Metaverse on us, similar to the way District 9 was promoted earlier with in-movie company MNU. This time, they're promoting the ark that would save humanity when the world ends. This movie and its ads are playing on my fears of the unknown that scares me more than anything. It's similar to how Chrono Trigger, when the game came out and watched my older brother playing it, toyed with me by making me think that the world was going to end by Lavos in 1999. That game affected my fragile 5th/6th Grade mind. While I got over the Chrono Trigger fear a little bit before 1999, I won't get over the 2012 thing until then.

With that said, I'm going to hate when 2012 the movie gets closer to its release. It's going to drive me nuts by advertising everywhere I watch. And, yes, this will be worse than Spongebob/Mix-A-Lot/Burger King.

Also, not seeing 2012 no matter how it influences me.

I was quite surprised to find it wasn't after a quick wiki search. Anyways, I can only imagine that they're going with the viral marketing attempt because the trailers make it look like The Day After Tomorrow: 2 Years After Next. These IHC commercials with the lottery system reek of the shoddy "Deep Impact" (coincidentally also with a black President) movie from years ago. Frankly, there is nothing about this movie that seems like a good move.

The DiGiorno's pizza ad where this dorky kid pulls up at a Hollywood-style party (which for some reason is being held in an ordinary house in the suburbs), he dons a white T-shirt and cap that reads 'PIZZA' that was clearly written with a black marker and puts duct tape over the DiGiorno's name, and the P. Diddy-esque host of the party lets him in and then we see him boogeying down on the dance floor and talking to hot model types.

OK, first, wouldn't it dawn on the host at some point that nobody there ordered a pizza? Second, you'd have to be thunderously stupid not to recognize that it's just a DiGiorno's box with tape over the brand name. Third, no way is that store-bought pizza big enough to feed everybody at that party. Fourth, and perhaps most importantly, even if that kid really was a pizza delivery guy, the host wouldn't let him into his house to mingle with his guests; he'd take the pizza, pay the kid and tell him to get lost. So he gets to stay just because it's DiGiorno's?

Yeah, this happens.

Don't know if it is the right thread, but I just saw a viral ad for 2012, and the only indication is a a trailer was the fast that is said "this film is not rated". it was about an institute that was training to preserve humans after the solar event, which they said was confirmed by scientist (I thought that was messed up, since it isn't). I would think a kid watching this would be scared out of their mind, so why have such a viral ad? Has anyone else seen it. On top of that, this is the 4th commercial in a row where the mom is notable by her absence. My guess is that when (or if) she returns, she'll be played by a different actress. If they've permanently written out the mom, then I'll have lost what little respect that I did have for these ads. The 1st few commercials were tolerable, but now they're just annoying. The IHOP commercial where the jealous waitress tackles the Eagles' Donovan McNabb to the ground for waiting a table she wanted, then proceeding to mispronounce his name when she says, "This is my table, McNahb." Ugh!

Also, the Progresso soup "Ring, Ring" commercials with people talking through the tin soup cans connected by sting.

And of course, the annoying Flo from Progressive.com just won't seem to go away. ARGH!!!

The current Levi's ads they keep running where they have these big, dramatic speeches about the youth or America going on while they show young people doing things while having fun in slow-mo. I have forgotten that they were for Levi's every time they air.

And more on the "unnecessary swearing" category. Any Game Stop ad featuring that little bunny. The latest one has him swearing every time he's killed while trying to get a coin. Maybe once on the fifth kill would be funny from mounting frustration, but every single time? Oooooh, edgy.

The latest Miracle Whip mayonnaise ad with the "hip" teens and 20 somethings hanging out on a rooftop eating sandwiches while obnoxious captions appear on the screen which are also read voice over.

"We are the new generation. We will not tone it down, etc."

It's frelling mayonnaise. You spread it on a sandwich to make it taste better. Period. Quit acting like you're part of some pretentious youthful rebellion when all you're doing is eating sandwiches.

I haven't seen that particular commercial, but what makes the newer medicine commercials annoying is how the side effects and "If your condition worsens, see a doctor" disclaimer are worked into the context of the situation between the actors, rather than in the traditional voice over. It's just stupid because no one talks the way those disclaimers are worded. After one character recommend a particular medicine to another, then shift to the voice over for the side effects and other stuff like usual.

Technically Miracle Whip isn't mayonnaise, it's a salad dressing. Trust me, I know, I brought some of that stuff to a pot luck at work one time, and everybody got mad at me because they wanted mayo. I told them it was right there, and they proceeded to tell me the difference between true mayo and Miracle Whip. I seriously thought it was the stupidest thing, because I never cared about the difference and just ate whatever type of mayo or salad dressing or whatever my parents gave me. 'Hindi Girl' from Goodness Gracious Me is a pretty good parody of that song. "Come on, Vinda, clean that winda!" :p

Most annoying ads here currently are the credit crunch ones trying to get you to sell stuff. Like We Buy Any Car:

#We buy any car!
We buy any car!
We buy any car!
Any! Any! Any any any!
We buy any car!#
*repeat*

There's also several trying to get you to send your gold in a prepaid envelope. The advert shows a man and woman running around a stately home, clearly intended to be millionaires and stuffing the envelope with gold. At the end they have a wad of cash and happily throw it around like confetti.
...If they have that lifestyle already, why would they need to sell stuff? And isn't thinking of people like that just going to piss off the common people such a business would basically be trying to leech off?

I think I've seen that one. I know I usually go, "Ugh, just use the original" whenever I hear an ad with a crappy Beatles cover, but then I realize commercials are fairly cheap to produce that using an original would produce more than triple their budget.

What kind of burglar kicks down the FRONT door in broad daylight in a suburban neighborhood? and then on top of that, after the guy kicks down the door, the woman in danger actually answers a random phone call instead of calling the police or fleeing for help.

Well, the phone rings pretty quickly, and granted if they have an alarm system they now the practice is that the company will be calling the instant something happens. So it's not really a "random call" since it's one they'll be expecting.

They do get old after awhile, though, because I just see them all the time.

Not that the campaign with the animated Wendy in the logo was intellectual, but it wasn't insulting either. Wendy's, post-Dave Thomas, has had horrible luck with ads and I thought that campaign was all right. The Dave ads worked because he talked to me like a human being. It's that simple, fools!

I don't think he's shocked that people were home. I think he's shocked that they had a security system. He was probably planning on raping and/or killing the residents but the security system went off so he figured he had better make a run for it before the cops show up. I actually like the latest one, where PC promises that Windows 7 won't have the same issues Vista had, then Mac takes PC back through history all the way back to Windows 95 to try and make the point that each Windows successor wouldn't have the same issues as the predecessor(Win 95 wouldn't be like Win 2.0, Win 98 wouldn't be like Win 95, etc.).

Well, that's the point of the ads: to make Mac and Mac users look cool while portraying PCs as unworkable pieces of garbage and its' users as ineffectual fuddy-duddies who are in denial of their own incompetence.

Macs of course have their share of faults and issues as well: Macs are more expensive than PCs, that's something they don't mention in the ads. Also, unlike PCs, Mac components aren't compatible or interchangeable with other computers; if a Mac component is having problems, you have to take it back to the Apple store and pay out the wazoo to get it fixed or replaced.

Finally, all that stuff they say in those spots about how "Mac just works, without a whole lot of issues and glitches" is bunk; it's not that Macs are so much better at evading viruses than PCs, just that most hackers don't bother trying to infect Macs because more people own PCs.

To play devil's advocate, though, Microsoft's PC ads are only slightly less irritating with their nonstop attempts to portray PC users as "just plain folks".

I agree with people about the levis and miracle whip ads. There's also that bendaroos commercial. The guy seems way too excited. Then there's the "Important Announcement" commercials. A liquidation or music ticket or whatever else sale is not an important announcement. An important announcement would be like "There's a tornado headed towards your city and it's about to wreak massive havoc." or "An airplane is headed towards your city and will crash it's tallest building" or "A volcano has just erupted and your city is about to be destroyed in a fiery doom-fest." Those are important announcements, a stupid sale is NOT. There's also those already mentioned barbie commercials. How much more pink can she get. It's okay in small amounts but you don't need pink seats, pink gas and brake pedals, pink dogs, pink horses, pink handbags, and pretty much pink everything she has except for her actual skin. Say what you will about the ads for Wendy's, in my opinion, they work. Literally. I bought the whole "Threeconomy" lineup when they were heavily promoted, and ate all three sandwiches as a meal; they were good. And, say what you will about the Bacon Deluxe ads, that burger is good. While no one can replace Dave Thomas in their ads, the past year of ads for them are good and occasionally work. More so than Burger King's.

I'm not feeling the new KFC ads promoting their food and Madden. I don't know who's more desperate, KFC for using another game to promote their food (last year it was Guitar Hero from Activision, rival to Madden publisher EA), or EA because Madden's sales were off this year, with the worst statistic being that the Wii version sold less than the PS2 version. Speaking of, the character models look like they're from the Wii build due to their lankiness.

'my legs are hot!'.....i just saw this ad airing on g4. you would think the producers of the head on ads were involoved in this one....

it's for the pad to keep on your legs to protect you from the heat of your lap top. the worst, most annoying part of the ad is when the bikini girl after claming her legs are hot, takes her lap top and throws it into the pool.:shrug: if people are that stupid. you really shouldn't even let them handle they're own money to buy these products in the first place. they'd come home with magic beans.

i've gotta say though that's it's always hilarious when these infomercials try to demonstate common household problems to sell they're product. they'll show people trying to do simple things like open plastic bags, squeeze toothpaste or crack eggs and it's so frustrating looking that the people almost have a nervous breakdown. it's really funnier than the ads that actually are trying to be comical.

That cell phone commercial that uses a loop of the Felix da Housecat remix of "Sinnerman" in the background. So annoying.

The father/son team for Ocean Spray Cranberries never fell to annoy me, too. Well, the son moreso than the dad. At least he gets whacked with a soccer ball in one of the latest ones, so that was kind of nice. :D

I like the Ocean Spray guys. They're simple, nice, not too grating.

There's a new commercial with revamped Mambo Number 5 lyrics, and oh my lord is that song annoying. Can we PLEASE bury it in a time capsule and then lose said capsule? Please? Yes?

I have bigger hate for Canadian Lotto commercials, currently using this dance club song with "Neeh Naaa NEeaaaa - thin a naa-aaaa-tion" and whistling. I mean that song was repetative enough on the radio. Don't need it back.

Also annoying? Deep and Delicious singles commercial. The stupid cupcake the woman is "enjoying" doesn't even resemble the one on the packaging (one has nuts, the other has icing swirls) and then they have this chef Henri and the Inuit Nun-tu-nuk sitting on opposite sides of the couch from her going "Mmm" and "Brrrr!". Holy moley, I'm mad just typing about it...!

And finally - I'm still sick of hearing the inside of a dog's mouth as he chews a dentabone. So STOP IT. STOP IT. AHHHHHH!

The Levi's commercials are getting old. For the love of all that is holy, it is a pair of pants. You're going to wear it a few dozen times, it will become torn up and faded, and you'll throw it away. The country has not benefitted in any notable way. There are no 'pioneers' involved. So shut up.

I'm also getting tired of the Ben 10: Alien Swarm comercials every five minutes on CN. I'll be glad when they finally air the movie so I can stop hearing about it.

Some people must really put their jeans through a lot. I've had the same three pairs for several years now and they're all still in good shape. I'll probably be able to keep wearing them for another few years. Which is fine with me, because I hate shopping for pants.

In the midst of having jeans and salad dressing/mayonnaise being hip, there is another product that is sounding pretenacious (sp?). That product, is CAB (cheap-*** beer) Natural Light. Oops, I'm sorry, Natty Light. It has "Nattyisms," or words associated with the beer like Natastrophe, Natty Caddy (a real product used to haul cases of cans), or Natio Furniture (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__vSWbmwiA4) (link is to YouTube vid of ad). Most commercials annoy me, bu the one that really drives me up the wall is the "Jim Adler the Texas Hammer" commercial (local). It seems like they pop up every other commercial break. Doesn't help that the guy has an annoying voice.

As far as national commercials go, I'd have to go with the video game commercial where a guy created his superstar, and a girl tells him to stop creating superstars. I can't remember what game it was advertising.

Has anyone mentioned the Geico commercial with the talking pot-hole yet? Because I find that commercial pretty damn annoying.

And why does the pothole (randomly) sound like Britney Spears?

How about those home security system ads, where some everything seems normal (and it's typically single 20ish women or women with young children as the victims) until some psychotic jerk randomly kicks the door open? Talk about "mood whiplash (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MoodWhiplash)"!

Well, it's more my fault than the jeans themselves being of poor quality. I tend to (unintentionally) get them a size too long, and the ends of the legs get stepped on a lot, which ruins them pretty quickly.

But 'a few dozen times' is still a bit of an exaggeration, I guess. My sentiments towards the commercials still stand, though.:p

That Miracle Whip ad has to be the most obnoxious commercial on TV presently. Kudos to Stephen Colbert for ripping it a new one on his show.

"We are Miracle Whip, and we will not tone it down"

How about you shut it up?

It's salad dressing. Frelling salad dressing. You're not part of some youthful rebellion, you're hocking a consumer product that you spread on a sandwich or on a salad to make it taste better. Period. Get over it and yourselves.

Not really, I just... wear them. I don't really think about actively keeping them in good shape, it just happens that way.

Ah, that happens with me, too. I usually just trim the ends, though. I'm not too worried about them looking just a little shaggy, especially if it's just the ends of the leggings. The damage usually isn't enough to render them unwearable.

What's four words, 13 letters total, for "Jewelry Store Ad Campaign That Ticks Me Off"?

Answer: "HE WENT TO JARED"

It's that time of the year, when Jared, a jewelry store whose nearest location to Savannah, GA is actually in Jacksonville, FL, assaults ESPN and other networks with their pretentious jewelry. Only Burger King makes worse ads.

This same company made another commercial where a little boy tells his father that he's going to the bathroom and then he shuts the door in his dad's face sits on the bathroom floor and watches a sitcom on his mini TV. OK, first, the boy didn't have to lie to his dad about having to use the bathroom if all he was going to do is watch a mini TV. He could have done that in his room. And second, what exactly does a kid need to get away from? What does this kid have to stressed about? Being made to eat his vegetables? Nap time?
