Hey y'all,

Just OOC, has anyone ever had an outtake they've read about that's infuriatingly heard to come across? Mine is a deleted scene from Beavis and Butt-Head do America, in which Beavis steals the Declaration of Independence to use as toilet paper.

Anyone else have one?

I heard that there was a deleted scene from the Kids Next Door movie Operation ZERO where all of the Delightful Children tell Numbuh 1 their names. I have yet to find any proof anywhere.

Well, I've looked far and wide for a place to find it online and have as yet had no luck. (If you know of a place, do PM!) It has also not to date been released on any DVDs, or been seen on television, since August 7, 1999.

Some lines from The Simpsons have been altered over the years. For instance, in Viva Ned Flanders, when Homer and Flanders are at the roulette wheel, Homer mutters that Barney Gumble's birthday is April 20th "same day as Hitler's" . In the reruns and on the season 10 DVD set, the line is changed to "July 15th, same day as Lassie's."

Many of the Peanuts cartoons from the 60's and 70's had References to Coke-a-cola and even special ad's in the intro for it. however, around '78 they started removing these scenes and references. for example, in A Charlie Brown Christmas:

*In the intro, when snoopy swings Linus and Charlie Brown, we originally see Linus get flung into a Billboard for Coke. (however, this ad only shows it being a "WARNING" sign- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RPUIJj5_qRU&feature=related )

*In the scene where all the kids throw Snow Balls at the can's, the original cans were Coke Bottles

*the ending song, Hark the Harold Angle, wasn't cut off. the original ended in a voice over saying "brought to you by the People in your town who bottle Coke-a-Cola." the original is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Th1GdWQiYPM&feature=related

a few others also had Ad's, but not all over, like ACBX-mas. most only had a Coke ad in the beginning.

The holy grail of course is Chris Latta's work as Burns and Moe from the very first season of simpsons. Reruns and dvds redub those roles so unless you have the original airings of the first season you'll never hear those voices again.

There are a number of rare deleted scenes from The Simpsons Movie and WALL-E, the latter of which involved the jello creatures [the Gels].

I found more deleted scenes in that Peanuts link. I wondered what got cut off after that owl abruptly faded out. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m-C2L7qR-BE&NR=1) Apparently Snoopy. Why'd that have to go?

And a Charlie Brown's All-Stars Coke mention. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5H9CNxbMUY&feature=related)

Ren and Stimpy's Big Baby Scam and Out West are incredibly hard to find with their deleted scenes intact. I don't think they have ever been available uncut in a form people can legally access.

Speaking of Beavis and Butthead, almost three dozen episodes of that show haven't been seen in their original forms since the 90's (except for a select few, which aired uncut on a VH1 station years back)

I was gonna mention those, but I figured I would stick to A Charlie Brown Christmas. I'm guessing he went due to time. although, I dont think Time was a big problem back then... so I dunno...

There's of course the shot gun wedding from Red-hot riding hood. I think it was mentioned on this site once I think. I also heard there was footage taken out of the movie cool world but I have yet to find anything of it.

That reminds me about the episode where they were in a haunted house with a little ghost, there was a deleted scene that wasn't on the DVD. I only saw a picture of it somewhere.

That was the scene with the Bloody Head Fairy. And it was a Jim Dandy. It was worth a couple of dimes. ;)

The problem was that the DVDs used Spike TV masters, which were edited for time. No one ever caught the problem (or more likely no one cared).

The Nickelodeon Frightfest VHS of the 90's had Haunted House with that scene intact, so it's not really hard to find.

Such as the scene from "Ren's Toothache" where it is revealed that Stimpy keeps his bottles of spit on a shelf after he brushes his teeth. It is on the "Stinkiest Stories" VHS volume.

As long as you were taping Haunted House during R&S' run on Nick (and this episode was re-run a lot) you probably have an unedited version of this cartoon.

I do.

Like many cartoons from the 80s, Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends received edits to fit the 22 minutes standard that shows have today.

The Toon Disney/Disney XD airings for some reason or another chose to reinstate some deleted scenes and deleted some others.

A scene known for missing altogether is from the episode Pawns Of The Kingpin. Long story short, Bobby Drake/Iceman chose to interview Captain America for a school project. As the episode originally ended, he forgets his interview until Cap is gone, and choses to submit an interview where he interviews himself.

How about the full-length "Plunder & Lightning" pilot movie from Tale Spin? The deleted "Home Is Where The Heart Is" song has popped up on YouTube, but there are a number of small trims to the full-length pilot that haven't been seen since September of 1990 (not even on DVD). :(
