It's been a year since I added webcomics to my site, and they seem to be taking off...a thousand hits a day! That's only eight thousand behind STARSLIP! Woo!
I feel better about them since I got myself a tablet and started using sai. I almost can't look at my pre-tablet comics. They're my redheaded stepchildren.
It began with recurring characters (a pair of disembodied organs) but quickly evolved into "whatever the hell I feel like," which is usually a parody of horror tropes, what with me being a monster fan above all else. Here's a few I'm fondish of:

I've done a few comics with this horrible monster-philic mom.

Just something goofy and creepy, vaguely inspired by horror manga.

This is based entirely on real animals and their symbiotic relationships. The URL on the comic goes to my article about these species.

The bug is my own avatar, the pumpkin my pessimism. This is a true story...at least the first two panels. I have one article down and more in the works for Cracked.

I'm always the first to defend hot dogs. They really are made of the same meat used in anything else.
And here's one of the pre-tablet uglies that I still think is funny:

I still use Mr. Brains and Mr. Guts for especially weird comics.
