Mr. Mayhem drew my attention to this:

Well I've just received the 27th volume in the Columbia House series. It's listed below.
Animal Acts:

Critters
Love Is A Croc
Terror In the Sky
Birds of a Feather

So how did Columbia House screw this up? Simple! Love Is a Croc was already featured on the 23rd volume entitled Scared Straight. This means that if there is only one video left then one episode will not make it to the collection. I've been waiting, waiting, and waiting for Columbia House to put I Am the Night on video. I Am the Night is considered one of the best episodes of the series. What a shame it would be if this masterpiece episode doesn't make the collection. All we can do is wait for the next tape (which is probably the last) and see.

A somewhat dissappointed Mr. Mayhem.

So, who gets these vids around here?

I don't get any of them. They've been saying they will be putting their shows on DVD, so I am waiting for that.

This sounds like quite a screw up tho. I would be demaning for some money back or for them to make the matter right, no matter which show they bump from the videos!

I'm also hoping that this video series is one of the ones they put onto DVD, but it's gonna be expenvie. Their VHS's cost 24.95 each,. Imagine the cost of a DVD...

Are those the one you can subscribe too? The ones with the black covers? If it is I think I have the first video it's a Two-Face Theme right.

Columbia House has "I Love Lucy" available on both VHS and DVD. The tapes are $19.95 each; the DVDs are $24.95 each. Not a huge difference.

Probably about the same, I would guess. Actually, DVDs are cheaper to produce, so I would hope that they would pass the savings on to the customers. HAHAHAHA, right.

If they do charge more, they would hopefully fit more episodes on that one DVD to give us more bang for our buck.

I signed that petition/e-mailed them back when the board was doing that to get them to release them on DVD...

What are the I Love lucy DVDs like? Do they have nice packaging? ANY extras?

Columbia House usually keeps the discs bare. The website should say if there are any extras.
