C&C- Bleach - "Hitsugaya scatters! The broken Hyourinmaru[5/30]

Bleach is on at 12:30am and 1am eastern with two brand new episodes!

Last time: Ikakku thought back to the days when he first joined Zaraki's squad and told the tale of why he follows his captain and how his bankai must be kept secret. In the end of the episode, Ikakku falls out of the sky with his bankai and was able to defeat Edorad the flame wielding arrancar.

Today: Ikakku might be finished but the rest of the Soul Society gang still has business with the arrancars they are facing. Will Hitsugaya, Matsumoto, and Renji be able to pull through?

Uh you do know that even mentioning him like that is spoilerish right garfield? I mean really if you're going to hint at it you need to be a lot more subtle then that man.

I do want to note that unlike 118 I don't think the title of this is a spoiler. It says "Htsguya scatters" and that "Hyorinmaru is broken" but we could still technically say it could be broken/scattered for more positive or negative reasons. I thought last week was a spoiler since it stated Ikkaku had a Bankai something that was just so blatantly a spoiler. This is more forgivable though.

And as for this title...uh..this is a normal Bleach title so I would hope you would not complain either. Man where in the world were you in the Soul Society arc? That had plenty of titles to throw around. xD

And guys, I know I have a serious spoiler warning on the thread, but we all don't have to point at the simply things. Like if people say "Oh this character is going to be disliked noww" or "That episode title is already telling me what's happensss', and really.. when do these things really ruin the entertainment and the story? Honestly I thought the Ikakku title issue was not even worth changing now since it's not like we should be surprised who has a bankai now. I mean for crying out loud, in Code Geass...everyone basically can have a geass now.

Both Ririn, Nova, & Kurodo help Renji's battle with Yylfordt, but get quickly bashed by Yylfordt, ugh, the 3 mod souls still come, your filler arc is done already:shrug:.
So awesome of Yylfordt to beat up on the dumb brat, Ririn, keep it up bad guys, hahahahaha, Ririn bashings entertain me so much.
Cool to see adorable Ururu battle & overpower Yylfordt to make him show his cool release form, GO URURU-CHAN, that powerful little girl sure can fight, that's gotta be humiliating for Yylfordt, hehehehe, I love that fight:D!!!!!!

Hitsugaya struggles with Shawlong along with his release form.
Shawlong's zanpakutou, Tijereta is awesome along with his cool frightening release form with his Resurreccion ability & cool Snip power.

Stating Ikkaku had a bankai isn't a spoiler since no one even knew who Ikkaku was. I mean, there's way too many characters for me to even know the names of all the captains and lieutenants. There's no way I'm going to try to remember the names of the third chairs too.

Well, we have some fights going on, but it seems like we are getting a little 'filler' before everything actually starts up. I mean, we even get the mod souls involved, and they didn't do much of anything at all except get owned. And I do mean OWNED! Now, I am wondering how the so-called captians can cope with Arrancars who are so much more powerful. guess we will find out in a few minutes (love recordings, lol)

Think about it: Who was the first person who even saw Renji's Bankai? Captain Kuicihi all the way back in the Soul Society arc where he remarked he'd need to train at least 10 years to get the Bankai to it's full power. So everyone knows that Renji has a Bankai but just having a Bankai dosen't mean you are automatically a captain. I mean Zaraki dosen't have a Bankai and he's one. Reallly Ikkaku's just stupid and paranoid about hiding it really since there's no guarantee they'd make him one. Yeah some people might annoy him about it but that's it.

I do agree Bleach sometimes feels overdose with characters especially with how only a few of them end up doing a lot sometimes. Still there are people who remember all the characters name and to me it seems like a spoiler to reveal that. I mean if I saw the english version of that epsiode first I would of considered it a seriously annoying spoiler so I could see how other people would.

Eh easier enough to answer: Ichigo is the main character. Thus he usually tends to get to fight the strongest opponent and have the longest fight to either prove how tough the enemy is or how tough he is. Thus why he got the Espada and the others just got the underlings. (I don't think it would be a spoiler to say the underling of an Espada a Fraccion).

In the beginning of the series before the Soul Society as Luna mentioned Ururu helped train with Ichigo to get his soul reaper powers back and Urhara stated that Ururu is stronger then an average Soul Reaper. It was also stated in the manga the strange spirtual pressure made Ururu go "berserker mode" which I guess ups her strength a lot when she senses danger. So hope that helps answer some stuff for ya.

And to those of you talking about 121 here: Stop. There's a thread for that. This is only for talking about Episode 120.

Interesting fact: This episode like 118 consumed of about 3 chapters of the manga. Actually the ending of the Ikkaku flashback chapter also showed Renji and Hitsuguya being severly tired and injured against they're arrancar opponents so yeah we get that here in the beginnning. Sadly despite a long recap and using a slight bit over 3 chapters there STILL has to be filler in form of the mod souls helping out (and being taken down in a minute though sadly not for good) and a pretty interesting scene or Ururu taking down Illfort Granz before he gets into his released state. Besides the Soul Society group being smashed around (including Ichigo) the most important thing in this ep was the first mention of the Espada. The Group of the most powerful Arrancar under Aizen. Note how they said there are 10 of them. And minus 3 captains of the 13 court squads who defected that gives us 10 captains to take on 10 Espada. If it happened like that which chances are it won't since you know Ichigo here is fighting Grimmjow and uh more on that next time. Here this ended with a powerup of the 3 which actually ends the 5th season of Bleach. Really glad they decided to double up these eps too since this would be an annoying cliffhanger to end on.

No they aren't but also I'd assume if such a battle were to happen the Espada would fight the captains and Ichigo and his friends, being main characters wuold taken on the main villians which would be Aizen, Gin and Tosen. I doubt that would happen (actually I've seen the latest parts of the anime and manga and would know for sure if it wouldn't but won't say here) but I'm just saying it'd be interesting.

Japanese "season". See due to the fact that anime needs to continuing ruining new episodes in it's prime time slot and if it isn't the show could easily be pulled and actually cancelled (or something along those lines) there aren't any actual breaks in episodes like there are in American Cartoons. Well maybe you know sometimes a week but that's pretty much it. Thus seasons are usually broken up in a show based on how long the opening of a show runs for. It's not a spoiler to list how the Seasons are going to go on (based on what we've seen up to here in the U.S at least) based on how long the openings goes for so...

Season One: Episodes 1-25 (With "*~Asterisk" by Orange Range).
Season Two: Episodes 26-51 (With "D-tecnolife" by UVERworld)
Season Three: Episodes 52-74 (With "Ichirin no Hana" by High and Mighty Color)

Season Six: Epsiodes 121-143 (With "ALONES" by Aqua Timez).

So yeah Season 6 started with Episode 121 (aka the next ep shown last Saturday).

Then again, Neo Ultra Mike, the Bleach season concept is a little bit different from basing it entirely on opening themes. Wikipedia and Viz are basing the seasons entirely on story arcs. Therefore, season 1, "The Substitute," lasted for 20 episodes. The following season, "Soul Society: The Entry," lasted from episodes 21 to 41. Season 3 went from 42 to 63. Season 4 went from 64 to 91. Season 5 went from 92 to 109. And, this current season, titled "Arrancar: The Arrival", started at 110. Considering how some of the arcs go over the "season" breaks (like how Soul Society arc lasts from season two till halfway season 3) it's easier to just go by seasons by the actual opener. I do know they try and have the two (the start of an arc with the start of a season) but either it misses or the arc instead starts when a new ending premieres (like how for instance the Bount Arc started on ending 6 instead of opening 3 or 4).
