what i got from the movie....the matrix is not real, a world created to think that your actually doing something while your in a tub of jello and the robots eat you. so the unmatrix would be the opposite, the real world. post appocholips world that is.

It sounds like hes asking about the unimatrix, not The Matrix.
Everyone knows what The Matrix is right? I know Kungfu!

The unimatrix was from the finnally(sp?) of Star Trek Voyager. It's has something to do with the Borg. I don't watch VOYAGER so I don't know any of the specifics.

I have no idea what that is as far as Star Trek is concerned. But from what I know, a Matrix is a mass of any number of rows and columns holding information in each area that the rows and columns creates. Row 1, Column 1, etc.
Sooo, a unimatrix huh? Well the prefix uni means one don't it? One Matrix? One set of rows and columns? Or maybe just one of the little areas (the one at Row 2 Column 3 or somethin)?
Trekers! Help!

It's like a subsection of Borg territory (Like a city or street name, I suppose). I think they divided stuff so it'd be easier to keep track of everyone, and it's part of individual Borgs' "names". Like Seven of Nine's full name is Seven of Nine of Unimatrix Whatever of Tertiary Adjunct Wherever or something like that. I could be wrong.
Unimatrix 0 was a "non-existent" part of the Borg. It was made from the subconscious of many drones when they go regenerate (Sleep, whatever), where they could be who they were before they were assimilated.
