"All This and Rabbit Stew" is available on many PD tapes, including Uncensored Cartoons on the Cult Film website. It also contains a few others from the CENSORED 11 and "Pop-Pie Ala Mode". But just a word in advance: the prints on these tapes are pretty bad.

But where to find the redrawn Rabbit Stew? Maybe I'm sick, but I kinda get a kick out of some of the redrawns.
Back to the point. Several websites, Yahoo broadcast and liketelevision also have Rabbit Stew.
There is no redrawn "All This and Rabbit Stew," it was in Technicolor.

To find that video, just look up "bugs bunny" under video at amazon.com.

I would have sworn there was a redrawn version. The original color cartoon has a black hunter. I saw another version with a white hunter. I just assumed it was redrawn. Maybe it was just recolored (there's a really poor joke in there so let's forget it okay?)

There IS no recolored version. This "recolored version" was only a redrawn scene in "The Big Snooze" (the log gag)

while I don't have that exact PD tape, I do have a couple of other pd tapes that, together, have the same toon listings as this one.

Whether this is true or not, I don't know. I have heard that there is another version of "All This and Rabbit Stew" with Elmer Fudd replacing the black hunter. I heard about this many years ago and I don't know if it is true. Anyone out there know about this animated 'urban legend'?

If you remove the craps game, All This and Rabbit Stew is just a generic bugs-vs-elmer 'toon - take your pick.
I really doubt that WB would show a White man shooting craps...

I believe Joe Adamson's "Tex Avery -- King of Cartoons" mentions the Elmer change, but apparently, it was referring to the minor redesign and recoloring the Clampett unit did for the log gag at the start of "The Big Snooze." You can see the drawings' origons in the latter cartoon by looking at Elmer's head as he paws the sky after running through the log; outside of altering the color, there's almost no change at all between Clampett and Avery's scene.
