I think Yotsuba needs one bab but Azuma said that he doesn't want one.....without really saying it. He said that the stories would be hard to adapt.....but this is from the guy who got his weekly 4 panel manga turned into a 26 episode anime series.
Oh and alot of Go Nagai stuff from early in his carrer need adaptions that are closer to the original mangas.
So any other manga you think need anime adaptions?

YOTSUBA! YOTSUBA!

.....I mean, c'mon. It would'nt be that hard to adapt. And it would do great, I think, in the states. It could air on flippin PBS.

I think Godchild needs an anime adaption. Kaori Yuki in full color glory would be great:anime:
I would say Absolute Boyfriend too but the live action version wasn't bad.

Fairy Tail. Hopefully it will last longer than Rave Master did.

Why Fairy Tail hasn't been greenlighted already I'll never know.

Also, Psyren, Bakuman and particularly 20th Century Boys which is not only finished manga-wise but has a trilogy of live-action movies coming out. I mean, what more do you need? A drama CD?

I'd like to see Gentlemen's Alliance + adapted. It's just a plain high school drama, but I think it would be good. Tanemura's other anime (Kamikaze Kaito Jeanne and Full Moon) were magical girl/transformation ones, so it'd be a different road for her. They'd probably want Time Stranger Kyoko as an anime, though, since that's along the same lines as Fushigi Yugi.

(I want to see Jeanne!)

The original Seed Astray in OVA format. But Gundam's Cosmic Era continuity seems to be moved on from now, so this probably won't happen. Ditto for Gundam Sentinel, which is the coolest side story concept that I've heard of yet.

But hey, we are getting Unicorn, so it wouldn't do to be greedy. But earlier in the decade would have been a great time to do it.

I know-I know, "But it didn't came out in Japan so it can't be an anime show". Same gose with Spider-man and you see Japan's making a anime show out of that soon.

Just read this OEL Manga, you see why I love this book so much!!

You know, a "Vinland Saga" animé would be nice. I would also like to see Urasawa's "20th Century Boys" become animated.

Yankee-kun to Megane-chan would make an awesome anime. The only thing is that I have no idea how popular the manga is or if it's even popular enough for an anime adaptation to be considered.

Oh, and Absolute Boyfriend really needs an anime too.

Ignoring series that got bad or incomplete anime adaptations, the parts of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure than haven't been animated yet.

I would love to see if, somehow, the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga could get adapted into a series. While I did enjoy GX, even though I haven't seen season four yet, I felt like the manga did pracitcally everything I wanted the series to improve on. I do love 5D's too and it has so much of a better start than GX did, but it would be pretty cool if the GX could get adapted somewhere down the road.

Five Star Stories. A full on, genuine adaptation of a story that redefines the scale of epic. (That one-shot OVA that the creator wasn't involved in doesn't count. Neither does L-Gaim)

Go Nagai oneshots? Well as long as they don't sputter into Violence Jack territory I'm all for it.

But if they ever do a Devilman oneshot they will have to do it's seqeal Violence Jack...because without it you think Devilman dies at the end of his series.

I'm willing to bet money that Psyren will have an anime adaptation in 2010.

Fairy Tail, however . . . considering what happened to Rave Master I wouldn't be surprised if the mangaka is reluctant to sign off on it becoming adapted.

It would be pointless from a business standpoint. The drama did well and they announced a new special which will also do well. No need to spend money animating it.

Hot Gimmick needs an anime though. The industry is getting so wrapped up in moe that there is hardly any good shojo much less josei being made. Nana and Vampire Knight were kind of the end of it.

Beauty Pop - The manga is already finished so they won't need filler. It's just a really cute story that would be interesting to watch animated, especially with any rearranging or changes they might make.

Kaze Hikaru - They'd probably have to seriously tone down the blood and violence (like Inuyasha), but seeing an animated Soji in color and with a voice would be awesome :) It already has a zillion volumes (well, a little over 20) so there's plenty to work with before they have to worry about catching up. Although, if they don't want to do 100 episodes just to cover all the material they'd have to skip a lot, so it probably wouldn't work. But I can dream :)

I would like to see these Pokemon Manga get adaptations just so they can be seen more. Like the Diamond and Pearl Adventures, The Mystery Dungeon comic, and even the Specials.

For the longest time I wanted Alice 19th to be adapted into an anime, but its been so long that I don't think that it will be...

Samurai Deeper Kyo...yeah I know that an anime was made...however, the manga was far superior to the anime that I consider the anime a figment of my imagination and pretend that no anime exists...:D

Can we add another layer onto this and also write who we want adapting the series too? I mean, I want the chimera ant arc of Hunter x Hunter to be animated, but not if it's like the last two OVAs. Having Kazuhiro Furuhashi back at the helm, along with a color palette with an old-school feel, would be perfect. For music, I'm really impartial to Yoshihisa Hirano, though Toshihiko Sahashi did great for the first series. G.I. Final's score was terrible, though.

I should probably point out that I never saw the drama version of Absolute Boyfriend. ;

---but I wouldn't necessarily say it would be pointless for an anime to be considered if the live drama(s) were a success. Plus, the reason why I think it should get an anime is more of a preference thing since I'm more favorable on manga being adapted to anime first, rather than straight to live dramas. I've seen the live versions of Nodame, Honey&Clover and NaNa, and they all didn't appeal as much when compared to their animated versions. (Though I did enjoy Gokusen equally.)

Thinking about it more, I would like to see various one-shots of Akira Toriyama get anime adaptations. Like Cowa, Kajika, Sand Land, Neko Majin Z, and practically every other one shot in one show, except for the ones I name, they deserves their own mini series since they do have a few chapters to make a few episodes from.

SD Gundam Sangokuden. It would blow SDGF clear out of the water. I'm not gonna lie and say it reinvents the wheel, but it's a fairly fun story with an enjoyable twist on RotTK.

Plus unlike Ikki Tousen, you wouldn't feel all dirty after watching.

Actually, low ratings killed Rave Master.

Seriously, watch the show on Sci-fi. Even when you ignore the atrociousness of the dub look at the poor production values and lack of faithfulness to the original story. By the time the show finally gets on a roll it's half a year and most of the people who would have been interested in it have moved elsewhere.

Awesome character designs get you nowhere when you can't deliver the rest of the package.

So agree with The Five Star Stories. I think the OVA did do a wonderful job adapting the first three volumes of the manga with some very nice animation, but I want more.

Also, I think BLAME! deserves a full-on movie. The pace is just too fast for a TV series, and the visuals and scale of some of the set pieces need a big budget to pull off.

Sword of the Dark Ones. Its very self contained easy to do. Awesome lead characters.

What else, there's a lot of room to expand on the several volumes that were published and reveal more about the backstory of Leroy Schwartz.

I'm finding the fact that Fairy Tail was mentioned here and how unlikely it was, yet it got one!

Anyways, I don't read much manga. I read the manga of the anime I love. I am more of an animated person. Manga is oftentimes confusing, especially action ones.

All I want to see is another season of Ouran High School Host Club. The series has gone so far since the anime completed.

I for one would like to see Hakobune Hakusho ("Animal Academy" in America) get an anime adaptation. I really like the series even though it isn't the violent stuff I usually watch/read. It's a very good manga and I like it a lot and I think it deserves an anime adaptation. You get a cookie if you actually have any idea what this series is.

Alternatively, I would like to see an anime adaptation of the Pokemon Special manga. If you have read the manga, you know why it deserves it's own anime.

Lets see.

Shadow Lady I read a number of years ago.
Its from Masakazu Katsura of Video Girl Ai Fame.
It woulda been a riot if that woulda been an anime.

Enchanter by Izumi Kawachi (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=56413)
I read some of the volumes & pretty good.
Fanservice ahoy in that one :)

That's all fer now!
