I saw some concern about whether or not Pokemon would continue airing new episodes after this Saturday. I did some snooping around on CN's site and found this.
http://schedule.cartoonnetwork.com/servlet/ScheduleServlet?action=viewAll&showID=355709&show=Pokemon%3A+DP+Galactic+Battle
The title matches the first episode of the next season, so I'm going to guess that premieres will continue without a break.

Not that I don't like this since this coming Saturday's episode isn't really all that good, but I wonder how the quality of the dub will be effected. I mean continuous episodes without breaks seems like a pretty heavy work schedule.

Putting the villain team name in the title is a bad idea, especially since they only appear very few times.

Maybe it's meant to be Galactic Battles.
If this is true, this is great news.

I kinda dislike this. Not because I hate the anime, but because I'm wondering how this will affect dubbing. It's only a matter of time before CN catches up with PUSA and have to take a break that could be even longer than if they breaked between the seasons.

Japan is making Pokemon episodes faster than Cartoon Network airs them, so that won't be a problem.

That is a good point. I actually thought that they would have gone for Platinum as the new subtitle for the season since it is the most recent game and it sold so well. Then again, Battle Dimension didn't make that much of a connection to the season's plot either.
I am honestly surprised with this news. Of course, I'm glad that they'll go right into the new episodes since I am a huge Pokemon fan. But I thought that they would take a month or two break before jumping into the next season. Besides that, there hadn't been any promotion for it so I figured that would also mean that they would take a break.
Another good thing this does provide is that people won't be questioning if Pokemon would stay on the lineup now. After going right into a new season, I don't think that CN is even considering letting go of Pokemon anytime soon. I'll be looking foreword to the new season when it airs.

Since this next season will likely include the Galactic Finale, I guess its fitting.
But again, I hope that the dub's quality doesn't suffer, since they don't seem to have any breaks.

According to the guys on the you-know-where forum, they seem to be keeping more of the Japanese music with each passing ep.
Also the VA's themselves are pretty much fine, so I don't see much of a problem.

The question is how will it handle it for the SD feed at least?
Pan and Scan or retain widescreen ratio?

I don't see why they wouldn't do widescreen... They've kept it for the movies, and even 4Kids kept widescreen for Yugioh 5Ds.

Nah, but given this is the 4th season of CN Pokemon, I wonder how much longer it'll last on this channel.
I really don't see a need to worry about Pokemon's future on CN at the moment. It seems to be doing fine and CN obviously doesn't have any plans to replace Pokemon with anything else in the near future. I suggest to not worry about it until something actually happens that would indicate CN losing interest, similar to what happened with Naruto. Since that's not the case here, the fear of CN losing Pokemon doesn't feel that necessiary to me.
As much as I love the series, I have to say I was hoping for a break of a month or two. Maybe it helps that I usually expect a break after a season ends and I was pretty sure that CN wouldn't jump right into the next season. Still, I'll be happy to see how Ash handles his next gym match and all.

I totally agree with you. To be honest, it has gotten pretty old to see the argument or fear that CN would drop Pokemon when their current treatment of the series seems to point to how they're happy with airing it. Jumping right into the next season, while still a bit surprising, does show how they are content with airing new episodes and that isn't going to change anytime soon.

The day that CN drops Pokemon is when hell freezes over....'cause it isn't on Kids WB anymore, CN's pratically the only place to watch it here in the U.S., right? Correct me if I'm wrong, ever since they took all the shows I watched on Kids WB off, I haven't been paying attention to that channel at all.
Oh yeah, the old episodes are on Boomerang too, right?
While on the subject of airing new episodes at the current pace, I wonder what'll happen after the Sinnoh saga....Japan's already or are really close to airing the episode when Ash gets his 7th gym badge.

I haven't heard of Pokemon episodes airing on Boomerang for a long time, but that would be pretty cool.
I'm pretty sure that they'll have to take a break at some point since I don't think PUSA is going to rent a studio year round. At least they won't have too small of a gap between the English and Japanese airings since they need some kind of distance if only for the games. I'm not sure what will happen after the Sinnoh saga either since it doesn't look like Japan is close to the end of the saga quite yet. It depends on the pacing though.

The dub is roughly 22 episodes behind the Japanese version, so its not like they're going to run out of eps to dub.
Also keep in mind PUSA probably gets the episodes as soon as they're done in Japan, which is why they're dubbed so fast.

I wouldn't bet on that if I were you. Poke'Mon USA said Battle Frontier had roughly 10 episodes dubbed when they took the break last time. The difference between then and now is that Poke'Mon airs 1 episode a week instead of two. It takes ro8ughly 1 week to dub an episode if they don't send them in batches. As long as they stay four to five episodes ahead, there's no reason to take a break, especially since they can still air the previous seasons weekday mornings.

That does make sense. I just feel kind of weird about the idea of PUSA never having to take another break since I've been used to series having breaks at the end of each season. I do like the idea of getting the episodes now and all, but it just feels really weird at the same time.

Well, I'm not believing that PUSA changed their ways. Their clearly loving the way 4Kids handled the show so they'll always going to stick with making short intros. What would be great is if they decided to translate the ending but since we get the Notched-Ear Pichu a bit early before we see her in Movie 12 in it, PUSA would probably just give us the ending credits with that bland black background like all of the other shows on TV have been doing.

I thought that the opening to Diamond and Pearl was pretty bad and quite possibly the weakest Pokemon intro out of all of them. Since two out of the three intros PUSA has done have been pretty good, I'm hoping that means that the new opening will be good too. Though, as long as it isn't anywhere near as bad as the Diamond and Pearl theme, I'll be happy.
I just saw the CrushZone commercial today and it was kind of odd that they actually called it a new show. I thought that they wouldn't literally say that during the promo for some reason. Still, it's probably just to help grab more people's interest and networks often do use the terms a new season and a new series as the same thing.
