something for my college work.
im not studying animation, nor have i ever done it properly, before. this is all.. sort of self educated for my final art project (which was whatever we wanted to do, as long as we could back it up)
so i know its quite jerky, but ive not even finnished all the frames yet. this is the first half of my animation short... i guess half of a half as it needs more frames drawn :)
opinions?

I think it's a great start. The one thing that stands out to me the most at this point is that the timing is too fluid. There are several actions going on at once that you need to stage properly so the audience will know where and when to look. For instance, the sparrow stops his cart and immediately, the penguin is ready to take the bottle from it. There should be an extra half-second or second between when the cart stops and the bottle is lifted out. Think of it as giving the audience a break to assimilate the visual information.
Also, everyone moves at roughly the same speed. The kid runs a little faster, but that's about it. Play with the timing on the kid, speeding him up some more to add contrast between his running and the sparrow's walking. The penguin also pulls the bottle out a bit slow. If you speed his action up there, it could add a little spice to the pacing.

thanks for the input!
i know i need to pause befor ethe bottle bit. its very untimed at the moment... im still getting to grips with how thinsg work in animation.
this version is a vast improvment on my previous one, which is incredibly jumpy, missing frames everywhere, the running looks more like.. space walking or something. hahahha.
ill be sure to fix these timings next time, thank you!
