It's just too bad CN didn't give it a better time slot. The voice acting cast are some notable names.
Grey DeLisle was Shannon. She did the voice of Mandy for Grim Adventures, Vicky in Fairly Oddparents, and later went on to do Azula in Avatar: The Last Airbender among many others.
Mitch was Gary LeRoi Gray who does the voice of A.J. on Fairly Oddparents and did the voice of Squid on Rocket Power.
Cubey was the actor Myles Jeffrey who also did the voice of T.J. on Recess.
Among other people, Josh Peck had a role as Lenny Yogman. Peck may be familiar to anyone as Josh from Drake & Josh or the Amanda Show.
Anyways, the show was a lot of fun...hopefully DVDs will come out.

I remember premieres of this show airing at, like, 11pm.

No, I think they were at 10pm ........ mostly because I stayed up to watch them every week.

I would only want a DVD if it has an option of viewing it with Robot's original voice.

Sorry, but T.J. was voiced by Ross Malinger in season 1 of Recess and by Andrew Lawrence in seasons 2-6.
Getting back to Robot Jones: RJ was definitely an "in house" production. I remember the Cartoon Network Studios logo being shown after the closing credits.

I highly doubt CN will ever release a DVD of this. The main reason the show got cancelled was partly due to a lack of interest in the series from CN execs. I think Greg Daniels had a good feeling the show wouldn't last very long and would be doomed to obscurity, which is probably why he named the show "Whatever Happened To Robot Jones?"

Absolutely right, I didn't clarify, he does the voice of T.J. on the movies. My bad.

Do you remember what the little scene was that they showed when the Cartoon Network Studios logo opens up? Like how Chowder's has him picking up one of the "O's" in "Cartoon" and eating it. Did Robot Jones have one? I'm just curious.

No, not that I remember. Instead of having a "pencil test"-style CN studios end card, the RJ episodes I had seen all had the CN studios logo with a green laser "scanning" it.
---Which reminds me, when a show is animated overseas, does the domestic studio get to view peincil tests to check if retakes are needed before the animation is coloured or not?
In any case, I never understood the point of changing Robot's voice. A robot voice is just as good for that character.

It was just the Cartoon Network (pre-CN) logo with a green laser beam scanning it like on a copy machine.
