Rhino Records presents THAT'S ALL FOLKS!
On August 21st, Rhino Records will release a fantastic 2-CD set showcasing the brilliance of Warner Bros. animation's legendary maestro, Carl Stalling, and musical treasures from the pre-Stalling Looney Tunes cartoons.
The two CD's come packaged in a 100 page hard cover book full of rare art and detailed historical essays about WB Animation.
This 2-CD Anthology with book also includes:
• over 200 classic animation songs (not just score music!), such as Bugs Bunny's unforgettable warbling of "Trade Winds" and Daffy Duck's lunatic rendition of "The Merry-Go-Round Broke Down"
• The complete soundtrack to six cartoons, including "What's Opera, Doc?", "Three Little Bops"- performed by Stan Freberg and Shorty Rogers, "Katnip Kollege" and "Book Revue"
Cartoon Research will hold a special contest in August, in co-operation with Rhino, in which two winners will win advance copies of "THAT'S ALL FOLKS!" Stay tuned for details.
