Is Civ Rev for the DS any good? The 360 version rocked my socks (I was surprised to find that I didn't really miss the extra complexity of the PC version all that much), but I'm not sure how well a game like that would work on the DS. Its lack of processing power SHOULDN'T be a big deal-- the Civ games kicked ass on my old 486, after all-- but I'm concerned about the screen size.

Look at all the 4.99 UMDs. I'm sorely tempted to get the Resident Evil films, just to be a collector. This is probably the best time to amass a UMD collection, because there's a lot of good titles there for that price (I see you, Cowboy Bebop movie...)

That's my thing, too. I'd kinda like Chrono Trigger for the DS, but it's hard to justify it since I already have a version I can play on my TV for Playstation. If they'd added a whole bunch of extra content to the DS version it would be an easier decision, but two dungeons and the other minor things aren't worth $40 or even $30 to me. Hopefully the price will go down a bit and I'll pick it up.

If i can get Ikaurga for %60 precent off (50 plus adding my edge card for 10) thats a good deal to me. Same with Marvel VS Capcom 2 they have 2 copies off (ebay people are gonna eat that up.)

Ill pick up FFT for PSP with maybe Pokemon Dimond/Pearl depending on the price too. Who knows...

But yes, generally speaking I don't think $40 is an unreasonable price for a brand-new, A-list portable title (or as A-list as portable titles get, anyway), but for a rehashed SNES title, in a perfect world, $30 would be the STANDARD, not the sale price.

I stopped by my local GS earlier today and bit on Guitar Hero: Aerosmith for $10, which came with one of the wired guitars. I also picked up GH3 and a copy of Burnout Revenge while I was there.

Yeh, I went today to check it out, and they have a huge bin filled with games, and I didnt see the devil may cry collection, and I had to ask the person at the register and they said they have it in stock, but they didnt know if it was included in the sale, they said it wasnt so I decided to get it anyway, but when it rang up, it was priced at 19.99..so I guess it was included.

I got Devil May Cry 1+2+3 Collection(ps2) and phantasy star online(psp).

Definatly good prices, there was WAY more there, just nothing that interested me.

I'd pay $40 for a portable game I liked, but not for an old title that's already been rereleased for less and is still available to buy provided some research.

Yeah. I'm still angry that i paid the full price when I bought TWEWY since it has gone down to $30.

And for Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings still $40 after two-three years after release, it's a total waste. Bring the price down to $20 already Square-Enix!

I got a SEALED FFT for PSP (which i didnt think that would happen, greatest hits also) for 9.99, and a used copy they have in the store is 12.99. I think i did pretty good there.

I do kinda want Phantasy Star Portable, but i might as well wait till PS Zero comes out on DS. Eh, who knows, i might pick it up before the sale ends.

Hard to believe that no one was buying Chrono Trigger. I thought it would had been a big seller. Just bought it a few hours ago and I have one little complaint. The graphics are a bit too small like having to get a magnifying glass to see everything. I'll still give it a try though.
