OK, so I just saw the Don't Say You Love music video during Seventh Heaven last night. The song is catchy and the animation looks cool! I can't wait to see Mewtwo and Mew. I like that they've been putting hints to his appearance in the shows.

You know, I think this movie will have a good success with the critics. I mean Princess Mononoke looks too violent and dark, but the Pokemon movie will probably be as funny as the TV series and I'm sure that everyone of all ages will enjoy the Team Rocket scenes! They are soo funny! The movie sounds like it will be very psyciolgical with lots of questions about humansity and existense, I'm sure the critics will like that, but they didnt like transformers the movie though, even tough that one dealt with real issues like death and war. But Pokemon deals with real issues too, like loyalty and friendship!

Oh I know there's so many great directions the show could go after winning the Pokemon League. I mean I doubt the writers would just have Ash go back and keep doing gym battles, that would get stale pretty fast. The eight we had were great though, but i don't want to see the same thing forever!

This new FUNimation dub is completely terrible. I mean the voices actually match the character, no episodes or arcs are skipped, all of the music is kept, smoking is kept, all of the guns are kept, etc. Who cares!? I want my Bella Hudson's Woody the Woodpecker voice back as Luffy! I want David Moo back as Sanji, making him sound tough and cool with a Bronx accent and lolipop! I want Jason Griffith's Sonic going through puberty voice back as Usopp! I want my chimney sweep Shanks back! I want my repetitive generic music back! I want my 3 edited episodes per DVD releases again! I even want to see Helmeppo with his hammer-gun again! Having a normal gun was just stupid! I also appreciated that 4kids edited rice balls into cookies, because I'm an American and I don't know Japanese food! Removing text was a good idea too, because like Al Kahn said, we're too stupid to read nowadays. :shrug:

One Piece was selling like crap, so FUNi has dropped the show. Not that this was unexpected.

Now that FUNi has so much free time, they've purchased the rights to the original seasons of Pokemon, and plan to release the series with a brand new, uncut dub, which the fans have always wanted, even more than One Piece.

Undoubtedly, Vic Mignogna will play Mudkip.

Realizing what a mistake it was for Cartoon Network to cancel Toonami, Sony announced today that they will be launching Animax North America in September. The all-anime network will premiere with an all-day One Piece marathon. It will then follow with an all-day Naruto marathon and conclude with the North-American premiere of Sargent Keroro. The press release stated, however, that they will be using the Southeast Asian Hong Kong dub of Keroro, due to the poor reception of the Funimation dub.

Ratchet & Clank to recieve a Japanese animated adaption

Newtype has announced this week that a Ratchet & Clank animated series is being worked on tentatively titled "Ratchet & Clank no Daibouken" (Ratchet & Clank's Big Adventure). The series is an adaption of Sony Entertainment's Ratchet & Clank series that has been sold on Playstation game console, produced by Insomniac Games.

Although not much information was given, it was stated that TMS Entertainment (D.Gray-man, Sonic X, KenIchi: The Mightiest Disciple) will be animating and producing the show. Broadcast is slated to start Fall 2009 on TV Tokyo.
