(I posted this in the old board right before we moved, so nobody had a chance to reply)

In ROTJ in the scene where the Jokerz attack Terry and Dana in the disco, there was something editted out in the cut version. Terry sneaks up behind Ghoul for a surprise ambush, and we don't see what happens, just that Ghoul collapses as the gang catches up to him.

I've searched for info about it (lists of the edits) and it's usually listed as "Terry gives Ghoul the beating of his life." That's how anyone ever describes it.

I've never seen the uncut version, so my question is, HOW DID TERRY BEAT HIM UP??? What did he do? Care to shed some light on this? I'm just curious to know what exactly Terry did to him. A flurry of punches to the face? A knee to the groin? WHAT?

He gave Ghoul some well placed uppercuts to the face and some great gut shots. That's basically it.

Yeah, there were some pretty brutal shots of Terry punching Ghoul in the face.. I don't know, I kind of like how it works in the edited version. How the Jokerz hear Ghoul getting beat up, then they come and find him and Terry's gone already. It's kinda like the old Batman days... reminded me of "The Forgotten," a little, when Bats is going aound picking the guys off one by one, you don't see it happen, you just hear it. Stealth all the way. ;)

Yeah I completely agree, of course. It's just that when we remember exactly why those items were cut, those with a soul, heart, and conscience cringe a little.

Gotta love that stealth action that only Batman can pull off though. It always great to see Terry do it.

Yeah, it shows that he's learning.
