Has there ever been something in fiction you question? Something you always have a problem with? The always leave you confused? Well I do. And If you also, we can talk about it here.
One of the things that bug me is the whole premise of Magister Negi Magi(Mahou Sensei Negima). Something about a 10-year-old sorcerer teaching a school of all, non human, abnormal females, older than he is, is really just... just... akward.
Also, what makes Scrappy Doo hated so much?
(I was going to put this in the general animation thread, but I had some quibble with a few video games, as well)

I knew I should have put this topic in the General Animation Thread...
Anyone? Well, there are still a few questions and problems.
(Can someone move this topic... or at least tell me how?)

Is this only limited to animation? Because, as cruel as it sounds, it always bugged me that the farmer never got to eat Peter Rabbit. High pitched voices also bug me.

No, it's not limited to animation. It can be anything. And was the story of Peter Cottontail a Downer Ending? And why do you want the rabbit to be eaten? I'm asking this not because about the bunny, but because what makes that death any different?

As of this post, the lack of a current female lead or show is something that bugs me right now. Everything seems like it's boy-centric right now. I would like to see a show that centers around a girl or girls that kick butt. Where's the Kim Possibles, the W.I.T.C.H.es, the Winx Club girls of now? Also, the show and girls don't need to completely delve into the void of being concerned about fashion and boys all the time.

Japanese Fiction doesn't count?

Well, I was thinking more along the lines of American type animation shows.
I haven't been investing time into other animes that don't appear on television now or manga.
So I wouldn't know of any.

For me, the theme would be driven home more sharply if he did get eaten. And no, we don't need any graphic descriptions and illustrations of Peter getting skinned and boiled, just, "Peter disobeyed his mom, did not learn from his dad's mistake, trespassed, and met his demise because of his bad judgement skills."

I don't know what that means. :o But it seems Peter's reckless behavior resulted in no real consequence. He didn't even get grounded!
