What are the names of the Fox and the Crow?

They have no names in the cartoons (just "Fox," "Crow" and variants like "Foxie," "Crowie," "Mr. Fox," "Mr. Crow," "Joe Crow."), but their comic book names were Fauntleroy Fox and Crawford Crow.

Here's an interesting fact:

In "A-Hunting We Won't Go" the fox is identified as "A. Fox" (see the fox's mailbox in the background).

I think that "A. Fox" was just a joke. Like "a fox".

Fox had Farmer as a first name in "Way Down Yonder in the Corn", and was called "Lips Fox" and "Foxini" in "The Magic Fluke".

In "Plenty Below Zero", the Crow's bowling scoresheet listed his name as E.S. Crow. Escrow, get it?

In "Slay It With Flowers", the telegram guy yells "Telegram for Joe Crow" as the Crow falls...

I have a few "Fox & Crow" comic books from the U.K., but I'll have to check and see what they were refered to namewise...
