Hello everyone. I'm new to the post. Huge Looney Tunes fanatic here. If anyone can help me out with copies of the 11 "politically incorrect" toons that were cut from June Bugs this year, I would really appreciate it. I'm compiling a huge collection to give to my kids one day so they're not watching ****ty cartoons. Anyway, the toons are:
"Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt"
"Any Bonds Today"
"All This and Rabbit Stew"
"Bugs Bunny Nips the Nips"
"Herr Meets Hare"
"A Feather in his Hare"
"Mississippi Hare"
"Frigid Hare"
"Which is Witch?"
"Bushy Hare"
"Horse Hare"
Also, if anyone has the director's cuts of "Hare Brush," "Hare Ribbin'," and "Rabbit Transit" I would love that too. I will trade or pay, whatever is needed. I'm desperate. Drop me a line at JonEagle3@home.com. Thanks.

What's different in the directors cuts of "Rabbit Transit" and "Hare Brush?" I know some stations edit out the sanitarium gag in "Hare Brush," but I don't think anything is edited from "Rabbit Transit," or is there?

I think he's talking about "Tortaise Wins By A Hare" which is usually edited on TV.
wojo, watch the bob Clampett Show to see it.

Make that 12. You forgot "What's Cookin', Doc?", which featured a clip of one of the other 11 censored; "Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt." Even James Cagney is rolling in his grave with that one.
They changed thier minds about "What's Cookin', Doc?" and aired it in the proper timeslot.

I did not know that! This must have been done at the last minute. But I guarantee you fans who love "Hiawatha's Rabbit Hunt" are pretty angry about that. If they chose to air one with the clip, they should have aired the other without argument.

I would like to correct myself. I believe that it is "Tortoise Wins by a Hare" that has a censored ending and not "Rabbit Transit," as I previously stated. After Bugs's thugs mess up the race for him and realize that he's the rabbit, they all go, "eh, now he tells us," and one rabbit shoots himself in the head and the bullet goes through the whole line of rabbits' heads.
Do you have CN? That cartoon plays uncut on the Bob Clampett Show, like Patrick said.

The picture enlargement sort of ruins the ending suicide gag to that cartoons, because you can hardly see the gun that the thugs shoot themselves with.

The the gun is fired, the gun gets dropped and the gun flies past the camera.

True, but the action and the ending iris out happens so fast, it's like a blink-and-you-miss-it scene, but that's what makes the scene funny - because of the fast timing (something Clampett was great at).

I'm also looking for the 11 "banned" Bugs Bunny cartoons. If you can help, please drop me a line at pmccole@carolina.rr.com
Thanks!
