Chiller has brought back 2 shows from the 80's which are Freddy's Nightmares and the 1980's Twilight Zone.
Freddy's Nightmares was just this great big bucket of cheese that I enjoyed watching as a kid.
I always thought this version of the Twilight Zone was an excellent heir to its predecessor than the version that was on UPN. From I read, the networks got so cheap that they reduced to a half hour and some of those episodes fit 2 stories.

I don't have too many memories of Freddie's Nightmares. I watched it, but only a couple of times.
But I really loved the 1980s Twilight Zone. That was made deep in the nuclear-annihilation-can-happen-at-any-moment despair of the 1980s and it really gives the show a unique flavor.

I've been watching Freddy's Nightmares and realize that the bulk of the episodes are crap. Freddy rarely appears during the show outside of the host segments.
Of course, the episodes Freddy does take part in are great when he's the one who's actually doing the killing/tormenting, but then you get some real stinkers, like Tony Dow playing a cannibal or the episode with the mime with magic powers.
