Teletoon has created a website (http://www.jimmytwoshoes.tv/en/index.html) for “Jimmy Two-Shoes” and on that website there are five shorts called “Miseryville Moments” that can be watched on the video page (http://www.jimmytwoshoes.tv/en/video/index.html). I thought I’d create this thread here; since this website is hosted independently from Teletoon, there do not appear to be any geographical restrictions on these videos.

Clip One, Beezy’s Dance Moves: Jimmy shows one of Beezy’s hidden talents.
Clip Two, Tour Guides: Jimmy gives a tour of Misery Inc.
Clip Three, Beezy In Slumberland: Beezy wanders off in his sleep.
Clip Five, Grow-A-Monster: Jimmy wants to grow a monster.
Clip Five, Sweet Dreams: There is a monster under Heloise’s bed.

I thought that “Beezy’s Dance Moves” was the worst one, but I liked “Beezy In Slumberland” the most because of how absurd it was.

My favorite would have to be a tie between "Tour Guide" and "Grow-A-Monster" (if just for Jimmy's various expressions waiting for the monster).

The clips pretty cool to watch. I wonder if that site will post up actual episodes...

While Sweet Dreams was kinda funny, I have to admit it did nothing to develop Helosie's character. I like Helosie, but there has to be more to her than causing misery and breaking stuff...

I thought Teletoon's video page was blocked from the U.S? Oh well gonna watch it now.

The animated shorts werre 'meh'. One of the funniest ones were Jimmy trying to grow a monster since unlike the others, it's just proof of his ongoing stupidity.

In reference to Clip 5: Heloise, why couldn't you get rid of that monster under your bed? I mean, stop playing 'Ash Ketchum' and use those monsters in the cages and take over Miserville. Everyone knows you're the new 'Mandy' but unlike her you can act evil and smile about it. You Have The Power!!!!!

These videos are independent from Teletoon, so the region-locking doesn't apply.

With the way Jimmy's an idiot, and Heloise is a sadistic who doesn't deserve friends or contact, I'm starting to think more and more that this is just a rip-off of Billy and Mandy, only set in Hell.

Basically, it feels like the poor man's Billy and Mandy. Is this wrong for me to say with how I found out about these characters? Is it wrong for me to feel this way on any way. Let me know.

No, I'm not trying to diss this show, either. I just feel that way (OK?). I'll have to keep watching, and pray I'm not right- for my own sake (^cough^sanity^cough^).

I know we're just getting started here:

In one way or another, despite its questionable animation, this could be better than Billy and Mandy. The show, however, needs better character development. Also, NO FART JOKES. PLEASE- NO FART JOKES...

Nobody ever seems to have any evidence that such is the case, and just because characters fit into similar archetypes doesn’t mean that anything was copied. Stories have been told for millennia and just about every type of character has been used at one time or another, so similarities are bound to occur.

Also, the series isn’t set in hell.

Yeah, like many of Aesop's Fables and those common Fairy Tales.
OK, I'm wrong about this statement, just don't rub it in my face- I'd appreciate it very much. But still, I just couldn't help but shke that feeling at first...

I drew comparisons of my own in another thread. I just think people should be careful when they play the rip-off card. “Jimmy Two-Shoes” does have a lot in common with a wide array of animated programs, but that doesn’t mean that it was deliberate. I do agree with you about the fart jokes, though; “Jimmy Two-Shoes” is better off with as little toilet humor as possible.

Agreed- I'm just waiting now to see if the next episode can top the show's lackluster beginnings, as it is, anyway. Will it swim, or will it sink, especially due to soccermoms, for example, who think this probably does take place in Hell, because of how the characters look?

Will it swim, or will it sink, especially due to soccermoms, for example, who think this probably does take place in Hell, because of how the characters look?I think that the notion of “soccer moms” has been greatly exaggerated; one parental review site already reviewed (http://www.commonsensemedia.org/jimmy-two-shoes) “Jimmy Two-Shoes” and they didn’t criticize it that much. They gave it an age-appropriate rating for nine year olds, but they did point out the “demonic” residents of Miseryville. Regardless, the reviewer only gave the series a 2/5, but I don’t think parental review sites are necessarily the best indicator of an animated program’s quality. That’s the same score they gave “The Marvelous Misadventures Of Flapjack”, which has quick become one of Cartoon Network’s top shows. I’m hoping that “Jimmy Two-Shoes” will be successful for Disney XD as well. It has a good timeslot, right after new episodes of “Phineas & Ferb”, so it should do fine.

Five more “Miseryville Moments” have been added to the website (http://jimmytwoshoes.tv/en/video/index.html).

Clip Seven, Weavil Season: Beezy tries to capture a weavil for his soup.
Clip Eight, Feeding Time: Jimmy shares his popcorn with some animals.
Clip Nine, Say “Awe”: Heloise runs some tests on a familiar recurring character.
Clip Ten, Couch Tripping: Beezy shows Jimmy his new couch.
