It's only a matter of time before the Spring 2009 shows start. This link (http://www.moetron.com/2009/01/28/spring-2009-anime-list-marchaprilmay/) can provide you an idea with what is coming up in the next season.
Thus with that in mind comes the question. Which shows coming Spring have caught your interest? From the "Maybe I'll give it an episode or two" type series to the "My anticipation is very high" type series.
As soon as I get my thought together, I'll be posting my own thoughts in regards to what has caught my interest in a reply. That way the root post is kept as clean as possible.

Another Beyblade series? Why can't it and Bakugan die already?
I used to like beyblade but, like Digimon, it will get a revival season that will do nothing to keep the series afloat.

I am without a doubt watching Valkyria Chronicles. The game looked very cool and the anime is hopefully going to follow in its footsteps. Also, well produced shows with retro technology can be very cool. Case example: Last Exile.
The Tsubasa/xxxHolic OVA's? I want them.
Full Metal Alchemist 2: Very interested. Man, does this ever have huge shoes to fill.
Shangri-La could be the season's Sci-Fi fix. We shall see.
Beyond that, I'll have to do more research.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Reboot
Valkyria Chronicles
Hayate No Gotaku 2
What in the world is with one of those? They're showing tentacle bondage on the freakin cover.

DBZ and FMA will be checked out.
I'll have to read through the image listing to see what else looks interesting.

As long as it makes money, I guess.

Looks like it's just Pandora Hearts. I've been reading the manga and after seeing the promotional video many many times...I'm officially psyched.
EDIT
Just noticed the Eureka SeveN movie on the list. I'll definitely be watching that.

I'm waiting to see the new FMA. The rest will get my opinion once I see the first two episodes of each...or just one episode for series of choice.

FMA, for sure.
I'm also thinking of checking out Cross Game, but I may wait till I hear some fan reviews of it.

I knew it was only a matter of time before Queen's Blade got an anime. That's probably the only one I'll watch, if only to see how utterly pointless it is.

Chi's Sweet Home S2 (What? What?)
Cobra
and FMA are on my list.
However, Valkyrie Chronicles looks good even though I haven't played it. Sengoku Basara... well, that's just a maybe.

FMA and Dragon Ball Kai obviously. Eureka Seven: Pocket Full of Rainbows (film) as well. Can't wait for that.
Couple other things as well.

hmm. I'm really looking forward to FMA. The first 'season', if you want to call it that, is my all time favorite anime ever, and I don't want to be disappointed if whatever is coming out next fails to reach its greatness. I have high hopes.
Senjou no Valkyria looks pretty cool too. I'm definitely going to try to check that out.
well, besides the FMA reboot and new DBZ, im very interested the following:
Guin Saga: well, ive heard little of it, the sole reason im interested in this is because the author of Berserk said that the 123+ volume novel series its based on was one of the main insparations of Berserk, and that is good enough for me:D. (Berserk is one of my favorite manga).
DOGS/BULLETS & CARNAGE ~ "Weepy Old Killer" & "Gun Smoker" (OVA): Well, i like the manga (though its very confusing), so what the hell, i have no reason not to watch the OVA.
Lupin III vs Detective Conan: I hope Lupin wins, even though its obvious theyl team up to fight "the real villain" of this story (probably)...,
I may also check out Beyblade (for nalstagia).

OMG! I didn't even see that on the list, I can't believe I missed it. I love, love, love the manga and I've been waiting forever for anything to be animated from it. I think I'm more excited about this than FMA, if that's even possible.
mmm Haine in non-manga action~

Well, I'm definitely gonna watch Dragon Ball Kai and FMA 2. The stuff I seen with Basquash (the trailer) seemed pretty fun. And, of course, I'll see Valkyria Chronicles. I have my doubts about it though. I loved the game though. Then, of course,Lupin III VS Detective Conan. Go Lupin! :)
FMA 2, Dragon Ball Kai, Valkyria, and the new E7 movie are my interests, along with Conan VS Lupin.
Until then, I'll be sticking with two current shows: Michiko To Hatchin and Munto TV.

New FMA for sure. Most likely Dragon Ball Kai as well.
Shangri-La, Pandora Hearts, Valkyria Chronicles, and Cross Game look interesting as well. Considering how bad I am with keeping up with new stuff though... well, we'll see what happens

For normal series:
K-ON! (Cant believe no one mentioned this one yet!)
Hayate no Gotoku season 2
Natsu no Arashi (This is a maybe, but it's a SHAFT series, and I can't ignore it)
Bakugan: New Vestroia (Yes, I like it)
Higurashi Rei (even though it's listed as an OVA, it looks like a normal series to me)
Kodomo no Jikan season 2 (see above)
Saki (I know, it's a GONZO series, don't whine)
Shinkyouku Soukai (from Diomedea, formerly Studio Barcelona)
As for OVA's:
Lupin III vs Detective Conan
Hayate no Gotoku
Yurumates (Indeprox should make a nice impression as a new animation company with this)
Koihime Musou (hmm...kinda risky releasing it on April Fools, and I've even seen the trailer for it)

With the exception of Bakugan, my list is pretty much the same, and I'll pretty much try out everything

07-Ghost and Pandora Hearts. I read both manga (and that includes the raw unscanlated versions) so I have a good clear idea of both stories.
I don't follow up much with the Tsubasa/XXXHolic anime as I'm perfectly fine with just the manga. The OVAs are good. The Tsubasa anime by Bee-Train--not so good (which is a shame because they both used Maya and Kajiura music). From what I can see, CLAMP is definitely sticking by the OVAs which is a plus. They have better control on their series than with Bee-Train.
Lupin III vs Detective Conan!? AHahahahahhahah.. I gotta check that out.. >D Shinichi can top Lupin? Hmmmmm... (I also don't follow the anime that much. The manga, yes.)
Chi's Sweet Home. Curious to see how this cat's show goes. So cuuute. <3 At least, I'll check out the opening for it.
Eden of the East... That little summary screams out to me that the terrorist is that guy who saw something, like an innocent little kid, so he failed to pull off his stint. I'll probably check it out a little but not quite too keen on the plot.
FMA remake... I'll probably check that out too.
Spring '09 looks pretty busy for once. Yay..
