Comic Newsarama reported an odd rumor that Jim Lee may be jumping over to the ongoing Batman title. Below is what the site reported:
According to a current industry rumor, the very surprising answer may be one Jim Lee… yes, that Jim Lee. Unconfirmed word around the virtual watercooler is the always fan-favorite artist may make his biggest splash in several years by taking on the monthly series for an extended run beginning later this year, possibly leaving the highly regarded and exclusively contracted Scott McDaniel free to pursue other high-profile projects at DC.
There is no comment, currently, from Scott McDaniel. It is also rumored that Jeph Loeb will also be jumping onto DC's current flagship title after Ed Brubaker leaves to Detective Comics. Loeb is mostly widely know for his Batman: Halloween specials such as The Long Haloween and Dark Victory.
