Anyone see any screen shots or previews for this game yet? I think the screens look amazing and the wrestlers they chose for the roster of the game are awesome, apparently its going to be chock full of options and they are adding a great create a player (CAW) option. I don't own a modern day system, the Gamecube is the newest one I own, but I may buy an XBox360 just to play this game, and maybe buy the new NBA game too.

I question the wisdom of the simplified control scheme, especially since wrestling legends are going to appeal to a slightly older audience. Not touching this one until I've seen some reviews.

I prefer the simpler scheme ala WM19 for the GC and No Mercy for the N64, it makes for a more flowing experience for me.

Seeing as the UFC game is coming out the exact same time with a meticulous attention to the ground game, there seems to be little point in doing the same for Wrestlemania. Pro wrestling would lend itself better to that arcade esque gameplay anyway, because you don't need attention to matwork when the matwork is fake anyway.

I hope they do a job in that department. So far only Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth has had the best CAW in my opinion. But that's only because they had lots of different attire/paint for me to create weird wrestlers with.

I say go for it. I'm thinking of doing the same but for Gears of War.

I'm going to rent it first and see how the controls are.
