I know not many of you think about this, but I really appreciate the fact that it takes 20 minutes of inactivity on the boards before we are automatically logged out. That gives us time to not only read replies before we post, type thoughtful posts ourself, but it also gives us time to search thru other web sites while we surf these boards and to even allow ourselves to have our attention divereted for a short amount of time. I can go to the kitchen and make something to eat and not have to worry about being automatically logged out.
The reason I am bringing this up is because there are some OTHER V Bulletin sites out there who are not so considerate of their members, and will automatically log you out after five minutes or so. It is a very frustrating experience. I enjoy being able to hit the link to the first unread post on threads, but when you have a forum that kicks you out after a short period of time, it makes it more difficult to plow thru the posts there, and ultimately makes for a less enjoyable experience.
So while it may be a small thing to most people, I appreciate it. Thought I would just say it because sometimes we take the small things for granted! I think Brian and Harley have really made this an enjoyable board to visit, even down to the fine details most of us hardly think about.
