This is a talkshow episode reflecting on both Seasons 1 & 2

Not exactly an aftermatth, but more of a review, really, in my opinion.

Heard somewhere that it was gonna be a talk show episode this week.

I wonder if this means Izzy's gonna be there. You have NO idea how happy I'll be if she does appear, cause after watching the Daytona 500, I need some cheering up.

If she isn't, then Noah (my favourite male character), as well as Katie and Sadie (second favourite female characters) should be enough to entertain me.

I haven't seen it yet. I can't wait to see it.

But for all the people that I have been PM the last few weeks, you don't need anymore to keep you informed? You all figured it out by now?

So I think we are at a point, you all can do what we have been doing for weeks on your own without my help.

Anyway looking foward to seeing the episode, and hopefully I will be able to post a review tomorow having seen it by than.

Hey everybody the BTs are up. You should know what to do by now.

Loved it, loved it, loved it. This felt more like a fan appreciation episode.

Where was this Bridgette and Geoff on TDA, they actully had some personalities, instead of being one dimentional characters that just make out. Though they reverted back to that at the end, but that is okay, I am sure they will revert back out of that when the next Aftermath episode comes.

Izzy or E-Scope ruled in this episode. She was so funny, I can't believe Cheif tried to form an alliance with her.

The plot twist, Trent reason of the nine obcession is over something else besides the number of letters in his and Gwen's name, and he blames Duncan for the misunderstanding.

OMG, we see a character outside of the show named Ginger.

I thought the timing for this episode was perfect, we needed a comic relief episode after all of the drama last week. We needed a break for all the stuff going on, particular the schmes of Justin.

Also we know how Courtney gets on the show now, through her lawyers.

Disappointment is, they didn't bring the subject of Justin being the new villain. I know all of the girls will be blind to see all of the bad stuff he is doing, but still in Team Gwen's defense, they could have brought up that Justin blackmailed Gwen. Also in the injury clips, they should have shown a clip of Heather getting injuried and to see how the characters would react to that.

Watched it, loved it, something to lighten my spirits after last week. Here's my thoughts.

So the talkshow episodes are recaps and Geoff & Bridgette are the hosts. Nice to see them do something besides make-out.
Speaking of nice to see... IZZY/E-SCOPE! :D :D :D SHE WAS THE BEST PART OF THE WHOLE EPISODE! I HOPE SHE SHOWS UP IN MORE RECAPS AS WELL! Now I'm starting to think she was right that Chef intentionally switched the scripts as payback. But man, that was so cool how Izzy/E-Scope took Chef down with that kick.
Like how Courtney was mad at Duncan for hanging out with Gwen. Imagine if/when Courtney comes back, Duncan's gonna have some explaining to do then.
I really feel sorry for Trent, if he'd only had the chance to talk to Gwen before what went down. Also, his story on why 9 is lucky number was touching and not what I expect.
But I do agree with Geoff that he probably was gonna be voted off anyway. I wonder no one brought Justin's role in Trent's departure?
Chris & Chef sharing a hot tub... I'm not even gonna comment.
Again, no preview, I guess that's a permanent change.

This episode really worked for me, and made feel better after yesterday.

Also, I saw it twice, awesomeness.

Comment time!

The cold opening...was annoying, that's all I can say.

If there was a couple that spent Valentine's well, it should be Geoff and Birdgette.

Aw, Eva looked kinda shy there. Seeing her smile is pretty cool.

Courtney is still sueing, wow.

I like Sadie and Katie, if anyone asks, technically second favourite characters, I never really found them annoying. At all.

"But he's still super cute! I barf a little in my mouth every time I think of what happened to him."
"Oh my gosh, me too!" (barfs a little in her mouth)
Uh-oh, TAKE COVER--oh wait, never mind.

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! IZZY! I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!

"Hi, every one out there in TV land!"
Well actually, PC land for most of us, but, HI!!! :D

She has another ex?

"What went through your head after being voted off?"
"When you realize you're not getting a Guilded Chris Award, well... I can't lie to you." (sniffs, has tears forming on her face)
 :( :crying:

"Wow! It's that painful to remember?"
"No, I just can't lie to you! (points to her neck) I was outfitted with a lie deterrent microchip that emits shockwaves at the first hint of dishonesty."
Oh, uh, never mind.

"That's a really nice top, Bridge."
Best boob joke ever.

Truth or Hammer? Izzy's been known to overreact a lot, so this ain't good for her.

Ha! Nice try, coming-out-of-nowhere hammer!

So Chef offered an alliance with Izzy first, huh? I wonder how she responded to that.

Ooh, a kick of epic porportions!

So who else spoke at this point? Let's see...Courtney, Eva, Katie and Sadie...oh no.

Okay, let's move into the soap opera territory, also known as Gwen and Trent.

I was kinda expecting Trent to cry, that's all I can say.

Uh-oh, Geoff said words that shoudn't even be said unless it's by Heather fans.

No, no, no! We cannot have another break-up! Quick, Izzy, do something!

Yeah, disturb them with your eyelids!

These eyelids, they do nothing!

I remember the Chef's roadkill dinner thing, it was technically a short in the first season, and also featured Lindsay and Harold, being unlucky taste testers.

I was kinda surprised that Birdgette took Trent's side. Isn't she and Gwen the best of friends?

Oh God, more arguing! :ack:

Heh, Cody still has Gwen's bra. Really though, that's his only line? Is Peter Oldring really that busy?

Fanboys, fangirls, Courtney being jealous, you're welcome once more. ;)

 That was not the reason Trent was obsessing on the number?!

Some fangirls are making a move on Trent...

Hm... I'm curious on how many webcams segments will be done in the future.

Hey, the Sasquatchanakwa! I'm kinda surprised they didn't immediately get scared.

Yep, I knew that was Chris. ;)

Wow, Eva can do a pretty high-pitched voice. It's like something out of Oogie Boogie, when he kept saying "My bugs! My bugs!", when he was dying.

Ooh, an injury reel, I would expect that from Chris.

Trent is really that good of a singer. I was definatly touched. Well, everybody except Noah was sad when he was singing, I would've like to hear his response. Seriously, though, is Carter Hayden really that busy, too?

Apology accepted, and now...let the making out (finally) begin again.

"Check in next time for Total, Drama--(gets glomped by Bridgette)"
"Actioné!"
Izzy always finds a way to make an ordinary line extraodinary. Thanks to her appearance in this, I can make it all the way now.

I rememeber seeing Don East's signature, that says: "Orihime: the pain reliever otakus use most."

Well for me, it's "Izzy: the pain reliever fans use most."

Ooh, more making out, sheesh, that intern keeps seeing strange things.

You know, seeing Bridgette and Geoff making out here makes me smile, too. ;)

I forgot to mention. I also agree with Geoff. I thought Trent was going to get voted off anyway. So it doesn't really matter.

Justin was really plotting against Gwen, plotting in advance in the game, and it is starting to take effect already by how many of the ex contesdents think she betrayed Trent. Next of course the Gaphers to turn.

I hope Geoff revised his thoughts about Heather. A bald girl, the hottest person on the show?

Bridgette brought up how mean Heather was to her, but I don't recall Heather really being mean to Bridgette. The talent show episode when she accued Bridgette of intentional injury Courtney is the only thing that comes to mind. She treaten when the teams merge in the battle of the sexes episode, but really didn't do anything. She is got off light, compared to Gwen, and others like Beth, LaShawna, and to a lesser exdent Lindsay.

Great Episode

Izzy was the highlight of the show. I loved how she took over after Geoff and Bridgette were fighting
I thought Courtney might return in this episode, but there is bound to be more than one talk show episode so she'll probably be back soon
Yeti from Vancouver would like to tell you that this show stinks and Chris Mclean is the best host ever
Team Eva!
They're kind of implying that the DJ-Chef alliance will fail. That sucks because I'm rooting for DJ now that Izzy's gone.
At the commercial break: Chef's Roadkill Dinner!
My only complaint is that Noah, Ezekiel, and Tyler never talked and the rest (excluding Katie & Sadie) barely talked at all

Here are my thoughts (or thought to be more precise).

I liked it but I was disapointed that nearly half the Season 1 cast had no dialogue. I hope this isn't the case for every talk show episode but somehow I fear it will.

Only 3 of them didn't speak, that's not half the cast.

Like I said many times before, my onl beef with the Total Drama series is that not everyone speaks.

I also mentioned beforethat this is an All-Star cast, and when you get a cast like that, it's likely that they're busy with other projects, because of their popularity.

It is also disappointing that this is the only show to indeed suffer that problem. God, Noah fans are gonna complaina bout this episode...

But like I said before, this was still a good episode.

There were eight characters that were left out of Season 2. Three of them had no lines. That's nearly half.

I hope they're able to get them some dialogue in at least one of the talk show episodes because them just sitting not saying anything feels really awkward and weird.

Actually, as the quote description said, Kitschensyngk posted that during in a Bleach talkback after I said I was sick but still watched Bleach. And I was really sick, temperture, head ache, sore throat, the works. If anything, it should be...

Izzy: the antidepressant fanboys use most.

I just finished watching the ep on veoh. Here are my thoughts on it:

1. I thought it was great that they made Geoff & Bridgette the hosts. She's still my #1 favorite female character! (Gwen is #2.):anime:

2. Izzy was so funny in the green room with those cracker crumbs!:p

3. I liked Izzy's speech about a judge issued a restraining order against her about harassing a graham cracker!:p :p :p

4. I felt Izzy did the right thing refusing to form an alliance with Chef in that un-aired clip!

5. The look on Trent's face when Geoff mentioned that Gwen told her team to vote him off was priceless!

6. Bridgette sure was pissed when Geoff said Heather was the hottest on the show!:ack: I really didn't like seeing it turn into a heated debate between them!:( It sure got worse when they started showing the Trent & Gwen clips!:crying:

7. It was interesting to learn that Trent's obsession with "9" happened because his toy train broke when he was a child.

8. It was funny to see Chris disguised as Bigfoot on the webcam!:D

9. Trent's "break-up" song was very touching!:crying:

10. I loved seeing Geoff & Bridgette make-up.:) It was nice to hear them kiss when the spotlights went out!:anime:

A very good talk show ep!:D Can't wait to see the next ep!:)

How were the characters flat? Try to explain (with spoiler tags, of course). It's really difficult to explain. I simply felt I was watching disorganized clips just to show the characters. Unlike TDI with the losers at the resort,,, just having Cortney stalking Harold was worthwhile funny. If a show doesn't get me to enjoy the characters, it's lost me entirely.

Also, it's okay that you don't like K & S, I have a feeling many people don't like them that much, but I don't seem to find them annoying at all, just a little opinion from myself as well. But like I said, I understand you on that part, as well.

Well, all those Chekhov's Guns (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ptitlexn9xzsjd5fif) in a previous episode makes alot of sense and I got to say, the writers were dropping hints but given some find it hard to believe clues are true when the writers themselves gave them on a silver platter.

The first filler episode of the season----but a hilarious filler epiosde!

Comments:
- Who knew Geoff and Brigette had such great host skills?

- Liked the cold-opening and that all the footage used of the various ex-contestants were the *most* embarrassing stuff they could find. :-p

- The return of E-Scope. Very funny...

- Also the return (in a way) of (besides Ezekiel) the show's two most useless characters, Katie and Sadie. Well, at least I think they're amusing in their sheer uselessness/sharing-a-brain. :-)

- Nice bits of background for Trent (particularly the "9" explanation).

Old-but-amusing cartoon gags:
- Giant hammers seem to be a staple of cartoons----a staple of shows like "Animaniacs" (in lieu of the anvils).

- The "South Park" movie made use in the plot of a character being fitted with a shock-buzzer set to go off if they said certain things (in the film's case, Cartman).

Canadianisms:
- "200 meters..." Yep, Canada like the rest of the non-US world uses the metric system. 200 meters = 218 yards (or 656 feet), or a bit more than the length of two American football fields. Quite a distance there, E-Scope. ;-)

- Vancouver is a major city on the western coast of Canada (in the province of British Columbia), and the site of the 2010 Winter Olympics. The city's several hours (by car) north of Seattle.

- Sudbury is a mid-sized city in northern Ontario (near Muskoka apparently).

Next week:
No idea... presumably another regular episode, though.

Spoilers are bit silly for speculation, even more so for a show that you can't see unless you try. but fine.
They really needed to get rid of the audience laugh track. That really annoyed me no end. They over played Bridgette and Geoffs kissing combined with arguing. they went too far overboard with Izzy being totally crazy. And they could have gone beyond Trent being broken hearted about Gwen. Come on man, step up. A goth is not going to date a wus. It was all too predictable.

How the hell is Courtney overrated? Duncan seems more overrated than her IMO. Heck, Owen's probably more overrated, by both fans and the staff (seriously, until he's eliminated I'll always have the suspicion that they may just have him win again. )

Check the fan comments at the Total Drama Island/Action blog, they're crawling with Courtney fans. Some take their obsession with her a little too far. And yes, I also find Duncan and Owen overrated. I hope they don't end up on the final four again.

Courtney returning is the worst kept secret of the season.

It was inevitable.... Especially since the thousands of Courtney fangirls kept demanding her to be on Total Drama Action, I guess now they're satisfied now. She's the most overrated character on the show, IMO.
I dunno about that, explain to me why Cody's so popular? He's like the Toshiro Hitsugaya of TDI. A minor character with a massive fanbase.

That would be a twist now wouldn't it. It would take a very evil person to orchestrate that. Good thing no one like that is involved with the show.

It's 'casue he's the Dogged Nice Guy (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DoggedNiceGuy), and people relate to that.

Was there a new episode on last night (March 1) or was it just a rerun?
