I LOL'd at Dale spray painting the carpet around the "choking hazard". Carpet RUINED.
I'm surprised they're going straight to the birth in the same episode, but I'm also glad. They've already stretched out this arc enough.

As always, Bill's dream is shattered.
Jane: I didn't know you were so... old.
Bill: I didn't know you were so... young.
Jane: I'm not young. I'm 17.
Bill: I'm gonna drive home now...

A great episode, and a perfect end to one of King of The Hill's longest lasting plot points.
I figured Lucky's sister was going to become Peggy the 2nd and a really close friend of her's, but she quicly shot that idea down. Their clash of ideals over how children ae raised was pretty tense.
It kind of felt like they were recycling the new age sensitive parent idea from the Scouts episode, compete with sugarless kids. However, the kids weren't as involved as the previous episode, which is a shame since I wanted to hear more Hankisms from Bobby.
I was sad that Bill's lovequest ended in failure. Never heard of outsourced drive-thru windows though. That girl was pretty cute.
The Highlights reference was hilarious. Sad to know Master Moron has never been exposed to it.

Ha! The Simpsons switches to widescreen next week, and I already knew about that, but KOTH surprised me and beat them by one week! HA! That's great....
(Note: Luanne is still picked up by Buckley on the motorcycle. The whole thing was reanimated and they could have changed it to Lucky, but weirdly, they did not...)
Any word from ABC on a possible pickup yet, or not?
Spotted: a poster in the birthing center that said "YES SHE CAN." Even if this is their last season, they got in a reference to the next president.
I was surprised to see Luanne suddenly that pregnant, lol. I'm happy that plot point was wrapped up.
The goofus line was great.
Usually, I'm all for Peggy getting knocked off of her high horse, but I felt so bad watching all of her parenting tips get demolished in that class. So awkward.

.
And it looks FANTASTIC. I mean, the compositions take on a new level of elegance that wasn't seen before. It's a shame KOTH didn't do this much earlier.
Anyway, I always found it curious that Luanne didn't start showing up to...what, this episode?
At this point, I'm wondering if Bill will ever get a "normal" long-lasting love interest before the end of the show (at least on Fox). He's like the Trix Rabbit. You laugh at his loserdom but after a while you're saying, "Come on, can't the brother get a break?"

^^^ Bill had a few potentual breaks that were ether A: Never followed up on (Kahn's mother) or B: that Bill himself ruined.

Well, yes and no.
Kahn's mother was played for laughs because of how old she was (and being Kahn's mom). The only really respectable "catch" was that Melinda Clarke character, who of course turned out to be exactly the type of character she usually plays (like in the O.C.).
Point is, Bill never gets a "normal" woman (i.e. reasonable age, and not a "Bill was desperate" catch) They are either 100 years old, fat and old, or cheating on him. I find it difficult to believe that Dale gets more female attention than Bill, because he's even less attractive in many ways.

Oh I know there is always a catch and the point is he can't have a relationship anymore then dale can find out John Redcorn is the father of his son.

I'm noticing a sort of pattern in KotH episodes; Hank & Peggy meet a new-agey,border-line insane person, and get into an argument over belief systems (with Luanne, Bobby, or Bill caught in the crossfire), only to be proven right in the end. The shows so funny it's just a minor gripe, but still...

The ending was hilarious more because it was so freaking awkward. It was a really weird end to the sub-plot.

Not sure why but my favorite line in this episode was Peggy commenting on the colors of the baby's room. But yeah I was surprised as well to see Luanne that pregnant. Also Bill side plot was funny for what it was worth, that was so awkward man, what the hell?

Awww, she didn't kept Lasagna? That would have been epically hilarious in future episodes.
Kidding aside, this was a heartwarming episode. Surprising and quick to see Luanne get big AND give birth all in one episode, but as I said before, this last season of KOTH is pulling all the stops, complete with witty dialogues that absolutely makes this series.

Ah, this truly was a terrific episode. Wonderful dialogue, great way to resolve Luanne's long running pregnancy, and Peggy wasn't too bad here. I still loved her retort about what Luanne's nursery is mostly black, white, and red in colour.
