I'm seeing a lot more anime jokes on the show these days.

...raping tree?

I barely remember the Punky Brewster cartoon. BARELY.

Farting fat lady? ...didn't need to see that.

Wow, so I decided to tune in tonight, and was impressed with the dad watching Inuyasha skit. That was actually hilarious. One of the best skits Robot Chicken has done in a while. Hey, Mark Hammil back as the Joker!

OMG Mark hamill as Joker!

How did the inuyasha skit start? I missed the part before the dad got obsessed with it.

"It smells like Batman Forever!" Batman & Robin would have suited that line better, but close enough.

Batman sketch with more toilet humor.

Oh, Joker.

GREAT skit. This and the Giving Tree were my favorites of the night. I haven't been too into this season, but tonight's episode was definitely a bright spot.

I was taken aback when I heard Mark Hamill as the Joker. Awesome that they got him to do it.

This episode was way better than the last one.

Punky Brewster (I watched the show a lot overseas)
Inuyasha
The Giving Tree,
Charlie Brown gets Iraq
And Mark Hamill as the Joker.
And inflated boobs.
American Gladiator violence!

Good stuff!

Hamill as the Joker was great.

You know, I hate Inuyasha and I'm not much of an anime fan, but I'm kind of sick of the stereotype of "all anime has swooshing backgrounds and fast talking characters like Speed Racer." The skit was pretty funny though.

Easily Robot Chicken's best episode this season (so far).

By far one of the best Robot Chicken's ever:

InuYasha sketch ending with "and dad wins"
Hamill Joker
American Gladiators sketch
"Thunder!, Thunder!, Thunder!"weather report
Raping tree

AWESOME!!!

The Punky Brewster thing was okay.

I'm kinda surprised that AS aired a new episode tonight since usually no one airs new episodes of shows during the Super Bowl.

Good batch of skits tonight, with a nice bashing of Adult Swim's stance on anime, a couple of funny quickies, and Mark Hamill reprising his role of the Joker.

BTW, did the end of the Punky Brewster skit remind anyone else of Negima?

A fairly bland episode really. The only high point was Mark Hamill's classic Joker. The Inu-Yasha skit was mildly amusing, especially the mention of Adult Swim's crappy anime schedule.

I guess they thought since the game would most likely be over by then, why not?

And people said the Raping Tree couldn't find a role after Evil Dead II.

I was thinking that too.
I also found the AS bashing a surprise and quite funny.:D Hulk Hogan and Mark Hamil repraising his role as the Joker....Nice!!
That Punky Brewster sketch came out of no-where, even further out of no-where was that fuzzy thing from that old cartoon. :ack:

Highlights:
InuYasha/Dad wins
forecast for Thunder, Thunder, Thunder!!!
Raping Tree
Joker's Green Mile
Iraq

I'm just blown away that somebody remembered Glomer.

Hah, EVERYONE hates Glomer. At least that's the conventional wisdom. :D

What blew ME away, though, was that Soleil Moon Frye herself was voicing Punky. That's some sense of humor, being able to parody herself so wickedly. She could even joke about her problem with oversized breasts, which actually caused a lot of health and career troubles for her.

The same goes for Mark Hamill being able to go along with the gag. That Joker sketch was disgusting, but when you think about it, that gag does seem in character for him.

I like "Robot Chicken" more than in the past. The skits have more clever lately.

I've been falling behind on watching season 4. From what I hear though the last few episodes have been pretty good. That's great to hear since RC can be kinda hit or miss each week. So I'll watch this episode along with the last 2 or 3 later. One thing I love is how they got creative with the episode titles. The little story they form makes me crack up every time!

I'd never thought that I would hear Seth MacFarlane talk about InuYasha, but only Robot Chicken could do it.:p:D

Loved the Punky Brewster bit, mainly because they got Soleil Moon Frye to voice her. And at least we know now what Glomer's final fate was.

No one bothered to mentioned that Hulk Hogan voiced himself in this.
And Seth McFarlane was in it as well.

A lot of famous people played their part in this one!

One of the best Robot Chickens I've seen in a while. I really liked the Inuyasha skit.

I think they spelled out the Inu-Yasha fandom in one skit. I was hoping they'd lampoon them eventually, and I'm glad they did.

The cosplay, decidely creepy.

Hulk Hogan was also the voice of the Giving Tree.

I actually think that RC season 4 has been pretty weak for the most part. This episode was the only one so far that ranked above average for me.

I think that's due to them not dragging out some of the skits that they would have stretched out horribly in earlier seasons The ALF skit in particular I think they would have milked for all it was worth a season or two ago. It seems like they're starting to learn when to cut a skit off instead of letting it go on and on in some instances, but then skits like the Hannah Montana bit from a few episodes ago still go on longer than needed.

I just hope the Lindsay Lohan bit in the previews for next week's episode isn't any longer than what we see in the previews.

Here's hoping. Seriously, the RC guys really need to give the Lohan bashing a rest. They act as if all they have to do for automatic guaranteed comedy gold is to stick drunk Lohan in a sketch somewhere. Lindsay Lohan is a drunken, whacked-out hose-bag. We get it. Truthfully, no spoof of Lohan could be more outlandish than what she's let herself become in real life.

I'm suprised that they also didn't get back Frank Welker to do Glomer(Didn't see his name in the credits),considering he's been on RC twice.
