I prefer 2D, since there's more variation you can have in art styles and well-done 2D looks a lot more impressive than well-done 3D.

CGI can be 2D, though. Flash is an example.

Sorry, I probably didn't explain well enough. We're really interested to know what people who actually watch animation shows (rather than make or commision them or are simply TV critics) think would be most suitable for 'Pop Aliens' to be made in...CGI or 2D?
