What character from Batman would you have liked to have a gang in Batman Beyond?

I think it would have been cool for a gang of 2's. Two Face was a powerful figure in Gotham's Underworld. He was a gangster and should have been given the same respect paid to the Joker.

What about a gang of computer nerds at the school who worship the Riddler?

How about a gang of totally plant/flora crazy, enviromental fanatic girls that worship Poison Ivy?
On top of it all, they could also be feministic with a "no man can stop us" attitude(as Poison Ivy was in eps like HARLEY & IVY), although preserving & protecting nature & the floral kingdom would be their top priortity.

Such a gang could be really cool (and since plant life would probably be a lot more neglected & threatened in the future, the gang would have a completely valid reason)

And speaking of which, if any one of the Classic Batman Villains could exist in the Batman Beyond future/era, I'd say it's Poison Ivy. Considering her vast knowledge on chemicals, plants, herbs, lotions etc...I'm sure she would've found a way to maintain/preserve her youth & beauty forever and be eternally young!
Who knows, she may very well have obtained immortality(if her own research wasn't sufficient in enabling her to achieve this goal, she could even have got help from a fellow eco fanatic - Ra's Al Ghul! I'm sure he & Talia would have been willing to help her, considering that Ra's & Ivy's beliefs & goals parrerel each other. In fact, a Ra's Al Ghul/Poison Ivy team up could be very interesting!)

What do y'all think? :)

I'd like to know where this "T" gang came from. They were the rivals of the Jokerz in JOYRIDE, remember? It's not a question that I'll be begging to know on my deathbed or anything, but still....

...YES! A Two-Face gang would be nice. I'm glad at least two people see things that way.

What about the Penguin, too? He was another big underworld figure that didn't get enough respect by the writers.

actually, the Jokerz had a few members that payed homage to the old guard.
Ghoul was inspired by the Scarecrow
and I remember a member wearing Penguin attire
and one of Terminal's crew resembled Harley Quinn.

the thing is that The Joker had celebrity status in Gotham and his name became synonymous w/ the city. Decades later, a group of rowdy kids start up a gang and use the Joker's image to intimidate Gothamites. Had these kids not been so distanced from the true horror of the Joker, they might not think it would be cool to identify w/ The Clown.

But above all, the Joker would naturally have a cult criminal following, an urban army of pasty-faced miscreants out for some cheap laughs. Many of the members have tried to identify w/ some of the other Bat-villains...however, tney're still Jokerz.

Anarky kid's think clowns are cool. Just look at the Insane Clown Posse. I love the Joker so I can't agrue with a Jokerz gang. You've got many valid points that I couldn't agree with more about the Joker being a celebrity and getting more exposure than a Two Face or a Penguin.

Twoface I'm not sure about a Penguin gang. The Penguin went "straight" and he's never been high profile in the animated world. I don't that he would have much "respect" from the common punk. Maybe the mob.

I thought Ghoul was supposed to be paying homage to Christopher Walken?

I've heard that before Brother Nature. You've got valid points as well. I only remember seeing plants in the park. There were no tree's in the city of Gotham. I always wondered why they didn't do a Poison Ivy story. You're right. Of all people she is the one that would have the eternal youth/beauty. Her views aren't exactly that of Ra's Al Ghul. They may try to use one another to reach their goals.

Poor Talia may her eye live on

That would be REALLY cool if they took a page from "Dark Knight Returns" and made an episode or two with The Son's of the Bat. They could be all out of control like they were in DK1 and Terry would have to set them straight.

Other than that it would be fun to see a gang called "the Mad Hats" or something. I dont think they'd be a big deal or anything but they could show up for a scene or two to get into fights with the Jokerz.

The Slappers were a sort of nod to Bane, since it was his happy juice that those punks were using to pump themselves up. In a sense ol' muscle-head generated a cult following....

Isn't Terminal of the Jokerz sort of a Harvey Dent-ish figure?

The T's reminded me of a villain seen in "Legends of the Dark Knight" (the girl's impressions of the Bat set in the apocolyptic universe)....

That clip was an homage to The Dark Knight Returns, the gang is the Mutants, not the T's. I agree with Dark Knight that The Sons of Batman would be cool. I also thought I recalled a Joker gang from that book, but right now I've just reread about half of it and aparently I'm wrong.

Instead of wearing white make-up and stenciling T's on their faces, they should've grown mohawks, worn feather earrings, sported mad gold chains, and ripped denim jackets!!!

They could've gone around town sayin "I Pity The FOOL!!!"
Their M.O.- destroy anything that flies!!!

I remember a gang in moden Gotham called the Anti-Bats. Anarky had a run-in w/ them.

I wish they'd used the False Face Society in BTAS. That was a network ran by the Black Mask. While most of the Arkham crazies were locked away, Black Mask consolidated the gangs and controlled the Gotham Underworld until the Quake hit. I'm not positive but I believe I read that Black Mask was killed shortly after the Quake. Perhaps by Two-Face when he seiged Gotham. Can anyone tell me if the Black Mask is truly dead?

Oh, regarding the Penguin's gang, I didn't mean a bunch of punks would be inspired by him. I was thinking that a more "respectable" underground racket would still be going on in the BEYOND-universe under the Penguin's banner or something. We didn't see enough of the common gangster on BATMAN BEYOND, did we?

Yeah, I can see Selina inspiring Girl Power in Gotham.

There was a cat cult, but it wasn't for Catwoman. She's more of a mystery. She was never on the new's for being arrested or a major crime like Ivy or Quinn. So I'm not sure she'd have the same following.

In the opening scene from Cat Scratch Fever (Da Da Da) Selina was on a highly publicised trial, where she was found guilty for some crime but let off easy for "saving Gotham".

It's too late for me to explain this right. It's hard to explain in few words. Villians like the Joker are considered cool because they are crazy. Catwoman isn't crazy. Her crimes are very different than Joker or Two Face. Kid's think the Joker is cool because he hurts people and causes mayhem.
