I can't say I liked Gallotmon(is that his name? The jap version is Dukemon, which is MUCH better) voice much...and the wishing thing wasn't terrific. But, the transforming sequence was cool...I just wish they coulda used some better music & sound...overall the transformation seemed abit...etchy to me. Hmmm...wonder what Rika will look like when she does that(hate to say it...but, we saw Takato's nipples...hehe.. :o  :D )

That was a great example why I love season 3!! (by the way, its name was Gallantmon). I didnt care for season 1 or the first part of season 2 b/c it was trying to be too light hearted and cutesy. I started watching the show around the end of season 2, when it started to get to be a serious, dramatic story. It still trys to be cute at times, but it also concentrates on the storyline. BTW, does anyone know if there are any plans on putting season 3 eps on tape/DVD?
Wow, two very great episodes. It's funny, when "Digimon" originally premiered, I dismissed it as a "Pokemon" knockoff. Then, when I actually saw an episode, I thought it was pretty good. Season two got progressively better and season three is awesome. I'll admit, I haven't really watched that many episodes of the series before, but it looks like I should.

Yeah, I remember how, two years ago, I just thought that it was just a lame cartoon series with a bunch of wierd looking head monsters jumping around and eating food. But, once my friends got me to watch it, I thought it was awesome! (I know I use the word awesome too much, but.. eh) I've been missing a few episodes of season three and still need to watch some of the first season, but it's still great! Wheee!! :D

It DID look like a pokemon ripoff when they were just little larval head things fighting one or two villains, but the weirdness of the digital world (all the mysterious stuff like the bus and the phones etc.) got me slightly interested, then it turned into such an epic thing with the invasion of earth and tons of interesting monsters... then by the end all that weird goofy stuff from the early episodes was explained in really neat ways! Digimon and pokemon really are completely and totally different things... the fact that they have battling/evolving monsters doesnt mean anything because that theme has been a genre in japanese cartoons and movies for decades :P
My favorite characters were Arukenimon and Mummymon from season 2... i`ve missed pretty much all of season 3.

So does Jerri have feelings for Takato? She got so upset when he started losing it, and his bitter feelings were reflected in his Digimon (the spikes in the face, the exposed ribs)...and now the Digi-meld debuts. Unlike Pokemon, Digimon can be killed, and apparently their "remains" are consumed by other Digimon for strength--it's just energy, yes, but still very disturbing.
Jerri's sanity seems to be be hanging by a thin string. She may start talking to the sock puppet again--isn't that right, Mr. Hat? That's right, Mr. Garrison.

I think that Jerri was just scared or shocked at how maddeningly furious Takato got and how he turned Guilmon into that monster. I guess she doesn't understand how someone can hold that much fury and hatred in them or something. I don't know.

i have a question. in season 1 TK's digimon was killed and later was reborn as an egg. could this happen to Leomon?

Probably, but this is sorta a different version of Digimon almost, so it's hard to say. :dot:

This was more of a flashback of season one. Almost the exact same thing happened with Tai(the first goggle head) and his partner, Agumon(the yellow dragon monster they showed in Takato's flashback). It was definitely a good episode, and a tiny spoiler: just cause you saw Takato's nipples, don't expect too much from Lil Miss Rika to be showing!!:p I'm surprised they showed the whole scene without much cuts. I really loved the digivolution music too, sure it's nowhere near the Japanese version, but it's greatly improved from the "Hey Digimon, Hey Digimon" days.

In Japan, the show will come to a close in a few weeks, so far, there's been no sign of Leomon returning. Don't be surprised if he shows up in the very last episode, from what I hear will be called "The Biggest Dreamer", but if I were a Leomon fan, I wouldn't have my hopes up.

"Season 3" is a vastly diffrent show, so I doubt we'll see anything like the digiegg...
In case anyone was wondering (those familier with digimon, bear with me, cause I'm explaining it yet again) there have been two diffrent versions of Digimon in Japan, just like there have been Many diffrent non-contiguous series of Gundam.
"Seasons 1 & 2" of Digimon, were in Japan a show called Digimon Adventures. This "season" of Digimon is "Digimon Tamers" in Japan, hence the change in just about everything, from characters, plot, digital world, how digimon digivolve, etc. I think, but I'm not sure, that in Digimon Tamers, the show Digimon Adventures was also a TV....meaning Takato used to watch Tai, Sora, & TK battel just like we did...I could be wrong.
OK, explanation over, and I'd post more, but I just woke up from a nap...and I want to goto bed, but I have pre-ASA to watch, and ASA to tape. *sigh*

The "Adventures" show is only mentioned in the American dub. They don't reference it in the original, as I understand it.
Tamers has good individual episodes, but the storyline really drags too slowly. The fight should wrap up next week and they'll be back to blather episodes for a while. Strange thing about today's episodes: not only is naked Takato there entire, but Beelzebubmon's gets to shoot and wave his guns around, too. Most figured they'd get cut, the way "T.K." and "Puppetmon" playing with an Uzi and a .44 Magnum was cut from a first season episode. Just a few weeks back they clipped Kenta and Hiirokazu's accidental kiss. I'll never understand the editors here.

I happened to enjoy the episodes, it's really not a rip off to Pokemon at all. I'd had the opportunity to see season 1 and 2, this 3rd installment is just as enjoyable to me, that and having David Lucas do some of the voices on Digimon.

Well, Beelzebubmon is obviously an "adult" whereas Puppetmon was VERY Childlike...so that might be why the gun thing slid...also, the guns are very much a part of Beelzebubmon's character, whereas an Uzi isn't to Puppetmon.
Gay - Male, is still very much shunned by censors, and the MPAA...watch the Comentary & deleted scenes to Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back to see what I mean.
I don't understand it either....people are dum.
