I usually do my reviews like this. I find it easier rather than writing paragraphs.

- They have to choose random pokémon.
- Aoi is very annoying.
- Kohei is a data collector it seems....
- Hippowdon for Musashi
- Dodrio for Hikari
- Spoink for Satoshi
- I don't care about the other characters
- Kohei has Dugtrio. He's very important.
- Satoshi has Mantyke.
- Hikari has Sharpedo.
- Kohei has Floatzel.
- Kohei and Musashi. What a great episode it could've been.
- Musashi has Magikarp.
- I'm upset that Aoi and Satoshi got the top 2 places.
- Satoshi said "We'll meet again".

Basically, I find that Kohei and Musashi made this episode great.

I wondered where the talkback was for the newest episode. I thought that it was a fun way to end off the Summer School arc. Angie obviously has a crush on Ash and of course, Ash remains oblivious to those feelings. It works for his character and personality. Conway is still the creepiest character I've seen in Pokemon for a long time. Please let him become one of Dawn's rivals in a future Contest. That would be awesome. I was also kind of surprised with how now Jessie has the girls on her team doing things for her.

I thought that the marathon was interesting in how it was handled. Instead of using their own Pokemon, kids used rental Pokemon instead. Well, it did do a good job with showcasing some of the new and older Pokemon, which is always a good thing in my book. It was weird how Ash got a Spoink and it was able to go that fast with him on it's back. I also liked how Brock got an Onix.

Almost the whole marathon, except for the end when you could use your own Pokemon, felt like the luck of the draw. At least there were some funny moments, like Jessie getting a surprisingly fast Magickarp. I had a feeling someone would get a Magickarp, but I didn't think that it would be too hard.

Of course, Jessie cheated in the cave, but none of the professors really saw it though. I almost couldn't believe how Conway was saying how he should have been observing Jessie instead of Dawn, but then I remembered how unbelievably creepy he is. I was glad that Ash saved Angie yet again, thus increasing her crush on him. I was really surprised to see how fast Ash and Angie were going. They were using some fast footwork there. Too bad that Conway and Jessie used up too much energy already. I was kind of hoping that Ash and Angie would tie, but Ash winning out makes sense. At least Angie got a nice second spot and the Red team did win of course.

I got a nice good laugh when James and Meowth totally forgot that they were going to steal all of the rental Pokemon. At least they seemed happy with what they did. Jessie seemed pretty happy with all of the kids enjoying their time with her, which was kind of nice. I also thought that Ash and Angie shaking hands was nice and it still showed that Angie still likes him. I would have liked to see Dawn saying goodbye to Conway after all he has done, but hopefully we'll see him again.

Overall, it was a fun episode and a nice conclusion to the Summer School arc. Seeing the different kind of Pokemon in the race was cool and I liked seeing the personalities of the characters, especially Conway and Angie, shine through here. I'll be happy to watch the next episode next week as well.

Haley is less creepy?
Well, I don't think he ever spied on Haruka before. He only wore that same thing she did once. Also, he never went all "Pervy mode" on Musashi before. so I would guess that he is more creepy. Unless you were just joking or something.

Haley is less creepy?

Well, I kind of think so. He did wear May's outfit once, which was just about as creepy as I thought that he could get. He never spied on May from underwater either or walk into her bedroom when she was with her friends. Conway's behavior towards Jessie during the last part of the episode was also something Harley didn't do.

Granted, I haven't seen Harley in a long time since I don't have the Battle Frontier box sets yet. If I saw all of Harley's appearances again, then I could make a better judgment as to which character is more creepy. I don't think Conway is nearly as awesome as Harley though simply because we've only seen him in two arcs and we don't have as good of a feel for his team like we do with Harley. Not to mention the fact that Harley was one of May's best rivals, while I'm not sure if Conway would be remembered for something like that.

i think this little arc has been kind of boring and not as good as the tag battle arc. with the tag battle arc at least ash got chimchar out of it but with this arc it seems like nothing really happened other than proving how much of a creep conway is:p

Been awhile since Ash won something, not so much a victory though since everyone got a plaque.

I agree that this arc wasn't as good as the Tag Battle arc. Not only did Ash get Chimchar then, but we got to see more of Paul and his harsh attitude. I think the first and last episode of this arc stood out the most. We did see the characters getting to use different Pokemon than they usually do in the first episode and the last episode was like a big marathon finale.

Well, they probably didn't want to make any of the kids feel bad for not finishing in first place in the race and wanted to make them feel like they earned something through that week of school. That's how schools function, especially if they're dealing with little kids.

Um, I didn't see the first 10 minutes... (darn you, Warriors Orochi 2!)

Anyways, a bit late, in 2 ways.

How come I was hoping Dawn to get jealous cause of Conway stalking Jessie? Well, my hopes were only a bit dissappointing, cause it didn't freakin' happen.

Whoa, Angie really knows how to get between the gaps (lol, a pun, sigh).

Ash has saved himself many times, but what about other people?

Conway and Jessie slumping to the finish line was somehow epic.

I was hoping Angie to win, after the hell she has been through, especially in the previous episode.

Okay...everyone gets plaques anyways...I would make a joke about how even stupid people would pass, but I won't. Wait, I already did.

Team Rocket hasn't been blasted off in 5 episodes...WHAT?! Did I just say something that's illogical and doesn't make sense?!

I loved this saga...:D. I also kinda hope Angie comes back, but I think she will, since the Shinx she has is kinda rare to appear in the Anime.

They're just symbols of participation... Sheesh!

Now, this episode was interesting, but nothing special in my eyes. Ash won, I kind of figured that, but I was rooting for Conway. And speaking of Conway, wow what a creep! That made me LOL. Nothing really special about this episode, but I did enjoy the arc as a whole. It was different to way the least.
