Wiimote functionality issues.

Over the past couple days, the speaker in one of my Wiimotes sounds like it is dying. This is most noticeable while exercising with WiiFit. The instructor will count out during the free step exercise, though they will miss a beat or the voice will come through "crackly". Nintendo's website says it may be due to rapidly removing and inserting batteries, but it's been about a couple weeks since I've changed them.

Anybody else experience something similar?

Not with my sound, but not once, TWICE I had to replace my wii-remote due to the wii remote not synching to my wii.

Same here the only problem I had with the Wiimote was that batteries would not read.

The Wiimote still plays just fine. The sensor or key presses are not the issue. I'm guessing the speaker is just dying or is loosened.
