Why Do so many People Complain about New CN?

Honestly, I see it everywhere I go...epscially on YouTube videos of late 90's CN material. All they do is rant about how the new CN sucks, they should bring *insert show here* back, *insert current show here* sucks, how they don't watch CN anymore, how the'yre going to make petitions, raiding CN Studios, emailing complaints, yadda yadda yadda etc. etc. I miss the glory days of CN as much as the next guy, but I wish people wouldn't complain about it all the time. As much as I hate admitting it, CN won't bring back all of the old shows, they will never bring back Toonami, and they will keep moving on making new shows and cancelling old shows whether people like it or not.

I'm just tired of all of the ranting/complaining going on, when will it stop?

It's because they don't like the current way the shcedual is, or they don't like the shows or as much as they liked the old ones. Really it's just personal opinion and nothing more.

No offense to any current fans of CN, but lately, CN has not been all that smart. CN is biased against anime, usually killing them, they cancled Miguzi, then Toonami, and then DAS.

CN has started airing live-action films, even airing its own live-action/animated series.

Cartoon Network let AS get an extra hour.

Aside from some marathons, CN barely airs it's classics, like Looney Toons.

There are more reasons, but these are the most telling.

Regardless, the people who are doing this clearly don't understand the demographic that CN is trying to reach now, because it isn't them.

I'm just saying, CN can be stubborn when it wants to be. The only reason they replaced Toonami with Action Flicks is because they wanted too off the anime block. They could have aired those movies on Toonami, but chose not to.

They stopped showing so much anime and Toonami because of low ratings not because they have some weird hate for it.

As long as it gets them ratings and makes them money they're happy, that's it. Doesn't get much deeper than that.

There are a lot of shows that CN doesn't give a chance. Remember when they put Idaten Jump on 6:00 A.M.? They could have least tried putting in the afternoons for a bit.

1. Okay them airing LA that has nothing to do with Cartoons...is one good point you've made.

Youtube comments NEVER make much sense. :sweat: They complain about how EVERYTHING isn't like it was when they were kids. Leading to comments like "90s rock, 00s blows" and "[EXPLETIVE] CN/Nick! They suck now."

When you want to find out a group of fans opinion on Cartoon Network, NEVER go to youtube. The people on this forum, while most anonymously agree that there is still room for improvement, have generally positive things to say about CN. And the whining used to be a lot more, even outside of Youtube.

they do have rights to the mask cause i saw it on tnt recently and also they aired that disgrace son of the mask on cn as well
