Man, these Filmation Droopy's are pure garbage.

I hate the way Barney Bear is portrayed in those. He comes off as a sort of Forest Gump character who doesn't move much.

And need we speak of the awful animation, mind numbing music, and nasty backgrounds.

I hate the way Barney Bear is portrayed in those. He comes off as a sort of Forest Gump character who doesn't move much.
Barney is the ursine Buddy. He's a very bland, barely likable character that usually comes off as a victim of fate or a good-natured-yet incompetent boob. The Spanish dub is worse; the actor doing Barney sounds like he's talking with his mouth full, mumbling his dialogue into incoherency.
It's the Droopy show, after all--why only one Droopy cartoon? Popeye gets his own show and three shorts starring him. I don't get it.
