Strange thread I know, but I thought it would be fun. So does anyone have a certain dream they have in life that they want to do or has came true?

It was not really a dream but more of a goal, I was aiming to make my advance drama class since the start of the school year and I finally practiced and made it two days ago. You don't know how happy I was to know I'm a good actor after all but eh my Mom always kept telling me I was.

As for a dream, I suppose being a actor but.. right now it's kind of a not sure thing so I can't really call that a dream until I know 100% in my head that's what I want to aim for as a career.

Anyways what about you guys?

You know, as an overall, lifetime goal, the one thing I want (other than to live a long happy life with a stable marriage and so on and so forth blah blah blah) is to do something, or be something, that warrants a Wikipedia article. I think I'd be good with that. You know, nothing that'll be in History books, but, still major enough to have that kind of noteriety.

I like to aim somewhat low.

When I was younger I dreamed about playing college softball on scholarship. Now I do.

Now I dream about writing a best-selling novel, so we'll see how that pans out in the future. I'm an English major with a focus in creative writing and want to get into publishing, so yeah.

I'd love to have a successful book series in the future.

I'd really like to get into either journalism or film making, because writing and film are my two biggest passions. These are also two of the hardest career fields to get into but, hey, what's a dream if you have limits? ^_^

I wanna finish a comic. Like, a 100-page graphic novel, and I want it to be good.

I dream of becoming a really good and successful writer. The thought of making an Hugo award-winning book or an A-list script would be great to me.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I must break into the voice acting industry! I know it takes a lot of hard work and dedication, but it's something I've been wanting to do as a child, since I liked mimicing my favorite cartoons and even people I know. I'm taking some theatre courses at my college and I'm also looking into performing some of our shows currently, and stage acting is something I wouldn't mind doing too.

Well, I usually don't get to accomplish my goals as soon as I'd like to. I always seem to get knocked back a few notches when I'm getting close. Anyway, here are some things I'd like to accomplish:

-To get a better car
-To learn how to play the guitar
-To be a pet owner
-To be able to get a DVD recorder, HDTV, and a Blu-ray player.
-Get married (I think)

I have a feeling this is all going to take a while. Let's just see how it all goes.

For me, it's got to be animation I'm aiming for; heck even an animated series.

Animation to me is like a moving storybook that can be used to engross an audience in it's surroundings, characters, and can entertain as well. You would want to feel a connection between you, the characters and the world that they inhabit, and make you think, "Hey, I would love to go on an adventure with them!"

You can never be too old for cartoons, no matter what people say.

Hmmm, let's see... I dream of someday creating an independent short film that'll gain cult following.

And maybe a syndicated comic strip, although the newspaper industry isn't doing so well now.

I'm hoping to become an imagineer when I grow up. I am going to try hard to get accepted into CalArts, the school that Disney built.

I would also love to write novels one day. I'm also an English major, but I had a bad experience with my last Creative Writing class in my college. Hopefully, the next one I take will be better. Anyway, I've always loved the idea of writing a book and gaining some award or have it be on the best sellers list one day.

To improve my drawing skills, or break into Graphics Design. Most classes I take are fun and informative on the subject, beside, messing around in Photoshop, Painter, Illustrator are fun.

I'd love to have an animated series that achieves Rugrats, Dora or SpongeBob-level popularity. I'd be proud to go down in history as the creator of an "It" show.

I want to fight. I don't have any aspirations of being in the UFC, but if I were able to get back into the gym I know I could have a lot of success against these local "tough guys" who, to paraphrase Jim Ross, don't know a wrist lock from a wrist watch.

My life time dream is to become a professional actor. TV, stage, film, whatever.

I also want to be a football playing king in space. With a moustache.

To become an actor\writer\producer just about everything in the entertainment business. Looks like someone is going to be a very busy man.

I have recently had some good ideas for books. It might be nice to see them published and on the shelves of Barnes & Noble.
