Who knows maybe our friends up north got compalints about the quality of the videos taken from the Teletoon website, and chooses to wait till it airs on tv, and use that video to upload. Or maybe Teletoon upgraded their website some more, to prevent any videos off their website from being recorded. We might have to wait till after it airs on Teletoon on Sundays for it to become available.

Actually, now that I think about, because I live in Puerto Rico, I can't even see CN Video, so I kinda feel like a cross between a Canadian (who can't see CN Video, either) and an American (who can't see TDA).

Oh man, I PRAY one of the eliminated players isn't Izzy. The clip I remember seeing of this episode had her and Chef fighting and It's be a total shame to eliminate a clear fan favorite like Izzy.

I'm giving this thread a kick because this episode is available for viewing if you know exactly where to find it (I'm not allowed to say).

Pretty good episode. Only thing I didn't care for was the lame fart humor. The two characters who were eliminated were EXACTLY who I thought they would be (how many filler episodes are there going to be now?!?).

I'd also like to say that the wait for episode three should hopefully be a lot shorter than the wait for this episode was.

This episode was pretty funny. Owen had constipation, Izzy and Chef getting into a fight again, Trent's jealousy, and basically the whole "Alien Egg" challenge. I can't say that Geoff and Bridgette getting voted off is a shocker though, due to their constant kissing.

I finally got to see this ep. Here are my thoughts:

1. I loved how Erent said to Gwen that even though they were now enemies, he'll always "watch her back.":anime:

2. Poor Owen, still sick from eating those props and forcing himself to eat prunes! Priceless!!!:p

3. During the alien egg hunt challenge:

a. It was great to see Beth show some guts!:D

b. It was weird that those alien noises turned out to be Geoff & Bridgette smooching!:anime:

c. It was hilarious when Owen asked to be hit just so he could run to the men's room!!!:lol:

d. I absolutely loved the paintball face-off between Chef & Izzy!:D It's too bad she ended up getting hit, but she seemed to enjoy it pretty well!:anime:

e. I think Trent did the right thing in choosing to save Gwen's necklace instead of the alien egg.:D It kinda proved to us all that he really loves her!:D I really think it was sweet of her to give the necklace to him as a good-luck charm!:anime: :anime: :anime:

f. I loved when Trent & Gwen won the challenge!:D That is, until Chris mentioned they'd now be playing against each other by choosing their own teammates!:eek: :ack:

g. I was shocked when chris said that for the firfst elimination ceremony, 2 people would be going home!:eek:

4. During the elimination ceremony, I really wasn't too surprised to see poor Geoff & Bridgette both be voted off, considering they didn't do anything at all except kiss.:sad: At least, they'll be leaving, and smooching, together!:anime: :anime: :anime: :anime: :anime:

speaking of "You Can't Do that on Television", Adam Reid a YCDTOTV alumni provide the voice of Justin in TDI/TDA. And speaking of Justin, some on other forums like TV.com wonder if Justin will be the new vilain replacing Heather in that role?

As for Geoff and Bridgette known in French as J.F and Brigitte, maybe they'll find a way to return (some trailer of preview then I saw on Teletoon showed Bridgette in a western sequence against Duncan), after all Izzy and Eva returned in TDI, but perhaps of one condition: no constant kissing!

I don't know if someone already mentionned it but here the names used in the French dub of TDI/TDA known in French as "L'île des défis extrêmes" and "Défis Extrêmes Action"

It seems that Gwen and Duncan, do have something in common when it involves movies. (it happened with horror movies in the last season)

The sucking noises creeped me out a bit...but I knew the people who were making those sounds.

Oh, Owen, his attempts to get Izzy have dire results, as well as Harold, although Leshawna seems to dig it...she just doesn't seem to admit it. :rolleyes2:

Beth's personality is growing on me now, she deserves to have a bit more respect. :)

The Alien eggs thing looked straight out of the movie, as did Chef's costume. Except the eye part, but the head was right, so was him being the Mama "Queen" Alien.

The motion tracker GPS thing was a nice homage too.

-Heather didn't really fit in. She is not liked and she is not really villainous. She is the odd one out.

Though that just icks of despiration. What is bugging Trent is how well Gwen and Duncan get along, and they have some things in common. I doubt Gwen will fell the same jealousy over Lindsay. All she has is her looks, Gwen will probably see right through Trent's tactic.

I finally got around to watching it, here's my thoughts.


I don't have a clear opinion on Geoff & Bridgette getting the boot first. One hand, I should be sad because they were my second favorite couple on the show. On the other hand, them both getting voted off means that they'll atleast be happy. Plus I think there's nothing left for the writes to develop, they already were a couple and since the other big couple is gonna get some drama heading they're way.
Chris is truly a sadistic S.O.B.
Owen is still having some problems after he ate the fake food from the last episode.
E-Scope's fight with Chef was cool, but the one from "Hide & Be Sneaky" was more epic.
Gwen's & Duncan's love of alien movies is similar to their love of slasher horror movies from "Hook, Line, & Screamer". So it's not completely random, unless you're Trent, who was voted off before the events of that episode occurred.
The next episode looks interesting
Chef is trying to form an alliance with DJ in the next episode. That explains why DJ was in the craft service tent with Chef in the intro.

You know you are really getting on people's nerves if you are Geoff when even DJ votes you off. It is hinted that DJ did vote Geoff and Bridgette, Geoff and DJ were like best friends in season 1. So you know they really annoyed people if even close friends can't stand them containtly making out.

Speaking of which, I said before let's try not to start a talkback thread for the next episode till Sunday, if most of us can't see it till after it airs on television. Other wise the first couple of pages will be mostly fans wining about not being able to see it, and I think none of us want that.

Highlights from this episode:
-Chef asking Chris for his paycheck.
-Gwen and Duncan bonding much to Trent's jealousy.
-Owen only focusing on eating prunes much to everyone's shock.
-The alien egg challenge was interesting.
-Chef vs. Izz-err, E-Scope round 2 only this time they were more friendly to each other.
-Noone trusting Heather.
-Geoff and Bridgette's making out sounds crept everyone out.
-The slime bombs Chris dropped.
-Beth crushing on Justin.
-Trent's loyalty to Gwen.
-Trent and Gwen are captains of their own teams since they won the challenge.
-Geoff and Bridgette in a double elimination. Thank goodness, I couldn't stand another second of them making out.

Damage to Heather:
-Her offer of teaming up rejected.
-Losing her wig permanently.
