Maybe they get the best ratings or are just liked by Cartoon Network. I wouldn't know though because I don't watch their movies during mornings and very rarely watch their movies at all.

I think they should turn it into a block and bring back Cartoon Network Theatre as its block but of course it doesen't fit the new look/bumpers!:crying:

I always though that those movies are well liked by little kids, and their the ones that are home when they come on.

I think it helps the schedulers be lazy because they don't have to schedule any shows for 2 hours.:p

But what would you put on in the mornings? CN doesn't have a pre.school programming...

But what would you put on in the mornings? CN doesn't have a pre.school programming...The Mr. Men Show, Baby Looney Tunes, A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (to an extent), The Land Before Time series, Ellen's Arces (may still have the rights to it), Gerald McBoingBoing (still have the rights to it), and the upcoming Pink Panther and Pals. Enough series for a 3.5 hour pre-school block if CN actually felt like it.

EDIT: Forgot about a bunch of Hanna-Barbara series like Pound Puppies. They have more than enough shows at their disposal.

If I see any more one-line posts without any actual discussion infractions will be sent. This has been going on for quite a while now.

Continue now.

Getting back on point and addressing the question.

Yes, it seems as though the movies are being played over and over. CN had the same problem with Cartoon Theatre on the weekends. CN's programmers, apparently, think they're "too hip for the room", to quote the late Phil Hartman's description of his series, "Newsradio", when it was cancelled by NBC initially.

The sad truth is, the programmers don't comprehend the meaning of one simple word. Diversity. Playing the same movies again and again will result in diminishing returns (read: ratings) in the long term.
