This is my first episode of watching this. Looks interesting. But, please tell me that they don't end every episode with a "to be continued".

Generally not.
So, are they killing off the lesbian FBI agent or not?

No they are killing Senator Kelly.

So, are they killing off the lesbian FBI agent or not? What makes you say she is a lesbian?

She's kind of got a butch streak I guess.
The continuity of this show is terrible. They say it's a sequel to the original Knight Rider but nothing fits together.
Apparently KARR was some sort of cyborg robot . . . and the original KITT never existed.

Wow. I have said many times that this is not a thinking series, but this episode was just groan worthy on many occasions. For the first few moments I thought it was going to be funny having a bad guy who was a smart alleck, but it got old so incredibly quickly that I didn't like it anymore. If there was ever an episode that demanded the revamp away from special missions for the government that should be coming with episode 14, this was it.
Jumping right in with the viewer not knowing all the details (like what war Olara Kumali could stop) is nothing new, but it just fell flat for me. I did like the Mike-KITT "team-up" to rescue Olara and get Stevens though. I didn't realize it at first, but it was a pretty good plan.
Dr. Graiman (and Sarah) trying to get "Hank" to behave was a fun side plot, but it was the epitome of a side plot having nothing to do with the main action. This show doesn't have many quiet moments though, and it was neat to show the genius that Charles Graiman is.
This is my first episode of watching this. Looks interesting. But, please tell me that they don't end every episode with a "to be continued".To follow what has already been said, I think this is the first episode to not be self-contained.
What makes you say she is a lesbian? In the Knight Rider movie (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?t=205863) Carrie wakes up next to a woman as our introduction to her. I believe she then has a short conversation with the unnamed woman about it being a one night stand. I'd nearly forgotten about it.

And the original KITT (Knight Industries Two Thousand) was shown briefly in that same Knight Rider movie in a slightly disassembled state. The dashboard and steering wheel were on a counter while his car shell was covered or half-covered by a tarp in Charles Graiman's garage. So the original KITT does exist in this series. It's just in a non-functional state.
As far as I know, this version of KARR coming up soon is a totally new KARR and isn't supposed to be the original. It's letters stand for Knight Autocybernetic Roving Robotic (Exoskeleton) as stated in Knight of the Living Dead.
Didn't care much for this episode. So far this series has been hit and miss with me. Outside of the pilot I've only really liked about 3 episodes.
Journey to the End of the Knight
Knight of the Living Dead
Knight of the Zodiac
And I only like Bruce Davison (Charles), Smith Cho (Zoe), Paul Campbell (Billy) and Val Kilmer as the voice of KITT out of the entire cast. That can't be good.

prepare yourselves for the best news about an upcoming episode (so far):
PETER CULLEN RETURNS AS KARR! (http://kittsite.com/kingspawn.htm) (contains spoilers other than karr info)
i'm sold. this is the same karr that was destroyed in the original. i guess charles recovered what was left and made the "new" karr. i'm under the empression that the new karr can "transform" to various other vehicles, so maybe we can get the trans am for a very short period of time. or maybe the new karr can "scan" other vehicles and "transform" into anything. lets have 2 mustangs battle each other.
next all we need is the return of the knight 2000.

When they talked about Karr before, they made it sound like his car/automobile form never happened.

Just because it's Peter Cullen doing the voice of KARR doesn't mean it's the 'original' KARR that was destroyed in "KITT vs. KARR" unless they specifcally state in the upcoming episode that it is him. Otherwise the new KARR just happens to have the same voice as the original KARR.
All they may really be doing is throwing fans of the original show (like me) a bone just to get us to watch the episode.
I hope I am wrong and it is somehow the original KARR brought back. But I won't be holding my breath.

This episode was on while I was working so I sort of watched it at first. Even though I was getting paid to be there, I couldn't take it. My eyes! I should have known better since I also saw the pilot at work not once but twice despite my pleas to change the channel.
I am eagerly awaiting the episode entitled, Good Knight, Good Riddance.
