Bruce Wayne (not Batman) buys the magical brand for Blood, and then when Klarion came after it Bruce and Tim changed into their spandex and Bruce as Batman went after the brand while Tim as Robin stayed with Blood.

Of course who's to say that they will or won't keep this or other parts of the BTAS/TNBA continuity.
