Total Drama Island had multiple dialogue edits when it aired on CN. Can I expect the same (or any editing) when Wolvie comes to Nickelodeon?

Have you watched Kappa Mikey or Avatar lately? My answer is no.
Honestly, I don't think this should even be it's own thread.
Also, Total Drama Island is an imported show. In Canada, the censors and S&P aren't the same as in the US.
Also, Wolverine and The X-men was produced for a 6-14 demographic. The show has a more mature, slightly edgier tone than something like say Spectacular Spider-man, but it's not like a show with a lot of vomiting, sexual references, bodily fluids and what not like in TDI.
The show is violent and has some grim imagery at points, but it's not extremely edgier than a lot of other programming you can find on Nicktoons and Nickelodeon.
Plus there's been nothing to indicate that they are editing the show for Nicktoons. The show is debuting in prime time, so it's not exactly coming on Saturday mornings.

Question to anyone, who has seen all 3 shows about X-Men:
Is Wolverine & The X-Men more violent, than X-Men and X-Men: Evolution?

Not really. No stabbing. No one getting shot or killed on screen. I'd say it's very similar in level of violence to those shows. Wolverine still isn't cutting people up with his claws. It feels like a smarter and more intelligent series. And there is some more grim imagery.

wolverine and the X-men does not really have anything in it that would need to be edited. It is pretty much the same content wise as Evo was.
Oh vile One i would say Spectacular Spider-man is "edgier" at least with what it gets away with.

Nggghhhh... does he at least get to use them at all? Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to this show, and I'll probably still like it, but it irks me that we haven't moved beyond the "ooh, we can't slice or stab anyone who isn't a robot" mentality that was present even in the 90s X-Men show.

What grim imagery is there?

Yes. For snikting, cutting walls, objects, robots, whatever. No actual people though.

I would suggest reading the spoiler threads. A while ago, I posted pretty descriptive reports on the first few episodes.

What unedited?
There's been no indication that the show has been edited for the censors at all.

In the UK it has been. We've only had two episodes and in the first, the part where Wolverine wakes up from his dream and almost stabs the girl with his claws is cut.

Oh you mean in the UK. I guess you guys can forget about any of the headbutts as well.

I haven't seen any of the overseas airings, but I do have a screener of the first 2 episodes from Nickelodeon (keep an eye on Toon Zone News (http://news.toonzone.net) for the review(s)) and I didn't notice anything unusual or edited. All the scenes anybody's described seem intact.
Doesn't mean that they won't get last-minute edits, though. Most recently, one line in the debut episode of Batman: The Brave and the Bold was changed between the screener and the aired episode. It can happen, but at the moment, it certainly doesn't look like it.

At this point, "unedited" is nothing more than a selling point for the DVD, if there is one.
