Paula tells Brendon's father that the last time she had sex with a man was 2 years ago.

Earlier, Paula talks to Erik and mentions that time they met at the PTA meeting 2 years ago, and Paula said that she forgot to tell him that it just wasn't going to work out.

Come on.. it's such an easy connection.

oh yeah and that's the only person she could have possibly had relations with two years ago? Then again maybe I'm being argumentative just for the sake of being argumentative.

*Shrugs* Guess so. She's done it before. Paula strikes me as being one of those people that, in the heat of conversation, exagerrates things. Like myself. Me, I'm willing to bet Josie is pretty much gone from the show. She's made, what, two appearances in Season 2? I think they're pretty much cutting her out. Bummer.

Erik was in "Business and Pleasure" recently... he will probably be in one of the next couple of episodes as it closes out the story arc.

Is Erik the one Brendon went to dinner with? I thought that was Brendon's dad. Cuz I guess I am expecting Erik to be black, unless somebody is in serious denial here, like in King of the Hill where Dale thinks his wife's son is his when the kid is Indian.

Technically, Home Movies has been on since 1999 right? I know this would make Bart Simpsons like 22 or something, but maybe they were going by real time. Since most cartoons dont age, Josie could be like 3 and not change the look of her, maybe she ran away. Remember, this isnt real!

Home Movies started in 2000.

Josie isn't 2 years old. She may be 1 and a few months old though. Paula says "2 years ago", but it's not like babies just instantly appear and pop out. You're talking 8 or 9 months of pregnancy first. So Josie would be 1 and a few months old by now.

As for why Josie isn't there, it's probably just that the writers forgot a few times.

Is Erik black? I thought he appeared to be of Pakistani or Arabic descent...or a very dark olive-complexioned Italian....

Wrong there matt. It did infact start in 1999 on upn, check http://www.epguides.com/HomeMovies/ and it will say from 1999.
