Matt Wilson put a lot of work into posting news about Cartoon Network's programming for Spring 2002-Spring 2003. So I will just rip off of the news post directly and post what Cartoon Cartoon news was reported. I hope he doesn't mind. :)
Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?, a new Cartoon Cartoon original series that will launch in July 2002.
Codename: Kids Next Door, a new Cartoon Cartoon original series, which will premiere in November 2002.
More than 100 new episodes of original programs are in currently in production for 2002-2003, including 26 episodes each of "Courage the Cowardly Dog" and "Ed, Edd n Eddy."
Eight new series pilots scheduled will premiere throughout Summer 2002.
20 new half-hours of The Powerpuff Girls, including a Christmas special.
26 new half-hour episodes of Samurai Jack.
13 new episodes of Grim & Evil.
A Johnny Bravo Valentine's Day Special is in production and is scheduled for a 2003 premiere.
What does everyone think?
Edit: I don't think Matt will mind because the press release was sent to the news team's e-mail.

If Kitty Bobo were animated, it wouldn't air until 2003. That's why it's not in the initiative.

This show, with its "nice, safe" theme of a robot discovering junior high school, would be much more suited for Nickelodeon.
But CN will probably give its creators more freedom of creativity than Nick probably would.

Who wouldn't get psyched over this! Maybe Jack and the Girls will do a crossover some day (they could charm the getos
off this guy!) And who wouldn't get psyched over more of SJ swordfighting, slicing robotic bugs (and maybe Ol' Telephone Pole Head) into sushi, and the chance of more...(Blush!) "fanservice?"

26 more Ed's Episodes? Does this mean a 5th Season of the Ed's? We knew it had 26 more to go after Season 3, but is that 26 on top of the other 26 coming later this year?
Just a Question.

Just wondering zimed, did you see the one where aku tells stories? As long as the series will be as entertaining as that (not just with comedy, action), then Ill bee happy.

'Samurai Jack' episodes certainly vary in quality- that's usual for a TV series. But I've seen absolutely no indication of a downhill trend; the week-to-week viewing is closer to the pattern of a yoyo. IE:
"Oh, great ep!... Eh, they've done better... I guess that one was okay... Yay, they're back on top!... Boy, I hope that's not gonna continue... WOW! Their best story yet!... That one did have it's moments..."
If the series maintains it's current average, it'll definitely qualify as Better Than Most. Reason enough to keep me watching.
