no. Kevin is done with J&Sb movies. The last LIVE J&SB movie was clerks. But The animated movie will be their last apperence., Current;y Smith is working on jersey girl. No jay and silent bob in it, but i can live :)

As it says at the end of Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, Jay and Silent Bob have left the building. They will be back in the Clerks aniamted movie in 2003, but this is the end of the live action ones, my friend.
And this doesn't really belong on the DVD board, so I am moving it to AniTainment.

I'd say another movie is abit much. Hmm...how about a fowl-mouthed animated Bluntman & Chronic series for Adult Swim?

I think enough is enough. I have enjoyed jay/silent bob and their comic counterparts - but I wouldn't be interested in seeing another movie.
The last outing was good - but not that good and another attempt may just nail the nail into the proverbial coffin.

Not to mention Kevin Smith is getting a tad old to play the character. I don't blame him for wanting to move on to bigger things. I have higher hopes for his resurrected Fletch movies than I would for another Jay and Silent Bob movie.

No, they're kicking around an idea of a direct to video/DVD animated Bluntman & Chronic featured film. It's been reported by some very repuable trade papers (not Poopshoot). Smith's done with live action, true, but he plans on exploiting Jay and Silent Bob on just about any other medium. Mostly in comics, where he plans on inking Mallrats II among other things.
Bluntman & Chronic's making will most likly depend on how well the J&SBSB DVD does along with the comic which was just recently released and even Clerks: Sell Out.
