26 eps, so I guess that's about 13 stories? Woohoo! I think the 2nd season's gonna rock.

wow, another season! lets hope this brings more batman apperances, more dvds, and a justice league action figure line!

Now that's great news. The second season should be an improvement since they won't be worried about introducing characters and such. Once the show gets going we should be in for some great story lines.

Maybe they can get better writers now.

This is good, but the best news would be the announcement of a third season of Home Movies!

Never doubted it. This is great! From reading these boards I think I'm in the minority, but I've loved the show so far. Sure War World was a misfire, but c'mon - Paradise Lost, Enemy Below...if season two improves on these we're in for a treat. I'm with everyone else in wanting Darkseid, and more DVD's please!

I think the second season will definatly be an improvement over this one. Maybe they will get a much needed bigger budget. I just hope they do some fine tuning on this show and get things exactly how it should be. Plus, I'd like to see Dini take a swing at an episode...*hint hint*

I'm looking forward to Season II, and I hope that Paul Dini and Alan Burnett sign up as producers.

A little OT, but I read elsewhere that CN has the rights to air GI Joe. My question is: what are they waiting for?

James Harvey

OT: CN has indeed acquired the rights and they are planning on bring ing the show to air - but it's more complicatred then that supposedly. It'll be awhile yet - but we will see the show on air again.

Now back on topic, season two has the chance to be a masterwork season. I think it will be able to improve on the flaws of this season, build on it, and make one heckuva show.

That's great JL is a great show!

I love cartoon network! I hope that JL continues to have the success that it is having this year for next season. Tim Bruice needs to improve he's storylines and maybe he will now that he's had the chance to develop JL and since it's getting so much hype. JL isn't as good as BTAS but it still rocks! Lets give cartoon network our support with this one.

Oh thank goodness! :D My prayers have been answered!

I will be dissapointed if Justice League doesn't get a minimum of three full seasons, and I hope that Justice League gets at least five full seasons. There are so many good stories left to tell! :D

May Justice League have a long and fruitful life on Cartoon Network! (And hopefully, it will be shifted to Toonami to join its Batman/Superman/Batman Beyond sister shows in time.)

Everyone is psyched for Darkseid's return, but show some love for Ra's al Ghul!

And how about Brainiac w/ a new body.
Looking forward to appearances by Lobo, the Green Arrow, the Hitman, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Alfred, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen.

And can we see Bruce Wayne out of uniform??? I'm curious if he has some gray on his temples. :-)

And what about New Krypton? Not the planet Jax Ur & Mala conquered in "Absolute Power".

Maybe Doomsday. :-)

And Sinestro. He was bad a** in STAS!!!

Batman with some grey hair? Interesting. I would like to see that. Even if he pulls off his cowl for a second to or Batcave...something.

This is great news. Of course, I'm psyched :D that we will be seeing new episodes of the current season until then.

And the guest shot of Metamorpho makes me hopeful we will see others like Green Arrow :) and Dr. Fate. ;)

Yeah, I've been tough on the show, but I'm stickin' with it and am really eager to see some new stuff!

Go team!

This is very good news indeed! :D

I'm hoping for some great stories as well as team-up stories that we haven't seen or haven't seen in a long, long while.

Oh, and yes...the villians! Oh the villians we could have! WooHoo! :D

TheHuntressDiana,

*Love* your avatar! It took me a split second, which is part of its charm. Well done. :)

A second season wil ldefinatly open the doors to much more possibilities. I can already bet that we'll see more Aquaman on the show. I definatly think that in season two we may even see more classic Batman and Superman shows. In the end, though, just wanna see Darkseid :)

Maybe we'll see some episode next season where both WW & HG kick some serious butt!

We should really keep an eye on him. :D

Just to recap, here's some of what we already know about what might be coming up (SPOILERS, duh):

http://tiger.towson.edu/users/jdavis6/Season2

Judging from all the Vertigo stories that have featured him in recent years, I'd like to see how the creative team handles Dr. Destiny. Who knows, Timm might be able to do his Sandman story after all!

I recently talked to Rich Fogel (I'll post the interview up on Monday) and he said to expect some of the things we've been calmouring for - like episodes dedicated to an indivial Leaguer and Darkseid!!! There will be more posted up on Monday at this site's News Page.

I really don't want Darkseid but I guess its too late now. If an episode is dedicated to one leaguer, can you still consider it an Justice League episode?

And here's a taste of what Timm said. This interiew will be up mid next week:

"We're going to experiment a bit with the format, seeing if we can tell a coherent story with all these characters (or at least 3 or 4 of them) in a half-hour story (we love a challenge!). So there will probably be a few self-contained "one-part" stories, but mostly 2-parters."

His interview, which will also go up at http://news.toonzone.net, will be up next week as well.

I hope we get Despero, Amazo, and Dr. Destiny. These characters could make for some very good stories. I wonder, anyone have any ideas on which version of Despero they will use? Will it be the version from the 60s or the more buffed version that has been recently used?
