Notes:

Lazerboy5000 is out and needed someone to fill in for him so I offered to help. Really I have not watched Pokemon in ages because mostly my tv goes three hours ahead of time so..that's really early for me but you know what I think I might just wake up really early for once for the heck of it.

Oh and some big notes: Pokemon is on at 9:00am for new episodes, extra episodes of Pokemon are on at 8:00am weekdays.

I thought that this was a nice episode. I liked seeing the anime having its own twist on a plot from the games. I also thought that it was nice to see a Psyduck again. I'm not one of those huge fans of the first generation Pokemon, but it was just nice to see a non-fourth generation Pokemon in a new episode. It was also kind of cool too because I just saw the episode where Misty caught her Psyduck yesterday.

Anyway, I was surprised that Ash didn't use Pikachu first. Sure, the electricity would have been a bit much of the Psyduck, but that would have been enough to get them across. I was even more surprised that Dawn didn't use Pachirisu since she did use all of her other Pokemon at some point during this episode. Shame too since it is such a cute little thing. I liked how Ash did try to use Chimchar, despite how it was at a type disadvantage. My favorite part was when Happiny was battling the Psyduck and then it got so mad that it grabbed a huge rock and was losing balance. Team Rocket's efforts were, of course, useless as well.

I was surprised that Ash could get over the Psyduck so easily. Of course, they did have the hilarious dance and song by Brock to distract them. I loved how he dragged Dawn into it too. It would have been nicer if he had sang the song, even though I don't think it would have worked as well as it did with his original voice. Anyway, I was also surprised that Gliscor still has problems flying. It's cute and all, but I figured that evolving would help it out more. It did seem to have a better handle on flying right after evolving and with its battle against Team Rocket. I guess that they wanted to keep it as more of a comdeic relief aspect of its character.

I liked the twist that they added with the story with the Psyduck guarding their eggs. It was adorable to see the newborn Psyduck like that. I was also surprised that their real home was taken over by Muk. It's usually a Grayados or some scray water Pokemon, so this was a nice change of pace. And Ash and Dawn use their Pokemon to stop them and they end up with female Muk. I liked it when Dawn called the baby Psyduck Psyducklings. That was cute and a nice ending.

Overall, it was cute and fun episode. While I did like the twists invovled in the story and Ash, Brock and Dawn using most of their Pokemon on their teams at some point, it did feel like it dragged on during the middle or it took too long to reach a certain point. Still, it was an enjoyable episode and I'll be looking foreword to the next episode next week.

I'm glad Gligar kept some of his crybaby and clumsy personality when he evolved. I was expecting Gliscor to be more like Ash's Glalie. I hope Ash keeps Gliscor on his team for a good amount of time instead of catching another Pokemon and sending it to Oak

Bump, lol. This episode was actually pretty enjoyable to watch. There were many funny parts to it. Gliscor's flying, Brock dressing up, and the final Muk scene. It's was pretty funny.

I can't believe Ash, Dawn, and Brock all had so much trouble trying the beat the Psyduck. But the Psyduck sure had a great stradgey. They mostly used Psycic and Hidden Power, but they used Water Gun against Chimchar. And combined, they ewre really tough. I don't recall if Pikachu used Thunderbolt, becuase I think that would have worked best against that stradgey.

And like I said, Gliscor's flying and Brock's dancing were hiliarous. I definatily was laughing out loud for that part.

And the baby Psyduck were cute. I'll give you that. And the Muk battle was pretty standard in my opinion. But they got blasted off with the other Muk, and then it was funny again. :p

So, in all, it was a fun episode to watch.
