This week's Action Flick is Batman: Mystery Of The Batwoman (2003). New Naruto after the show. Also, because of AS, Action Flicks moves to 8. Adjust your schedules accordingly.
This week on THE FLICKS: Jurassic Park III (2001).
10pm is gone to make way for KOTH and the PJs on Adult Swim. Too bad nobody told Cartoon Network (http://schedule.cartoonnetwork.com/xmlServices/ScheduleServices?methodName=mainSchedule).

Yea, I feel like they just spin a wheel to see what show airs, and then they just put a random number of episodes back to back. Oh well, can't really complain since were getting LOONEY TUNES BABYY. I hope we get to see a hefty number of Post-48 shorts too, I really love the ones Chuck Jones did, especially Rabbit Fire (That's the "Rabbit Season! Duck Season!" short to all who don't know).

Mystery of the Batwoman makes AS at:

Animated: 9
Live Action: 0

I think that's the first time in 2 months they have a premiere movie.

Jurassic Park III is a repeat if I'm correct, so the score is still:

Animated: 7
Live Action: 18

But hey, Looney Tunes more than makes up for that.

It is kinda sad that Cartoon Network's 10 pm hour is gone forever...

Aww man, that's probably one of the best Looney Tunes shorts ever, and one of the most memorable. Ah well, I can't complain. Especially seeing as how if this does well, all the shorts will be on, hopefully permanently.

Not to nitpick, but there are actually 3 "Duck Season! Rabbit Season!" shorts. Rabbit Fire (1951) was the 1st one. This was followed by Rabbit Seasoning (1952) and Duck! Rabbit! Duck! (1953). All 3 shorts were directed by Chuck Jones.

Things to look forward:

-New Brave/Bold: Bats and Green Arrow teming up onec again to save Camelot. (Plus the other 4 airings of the show. :D)
-New Clone Wars: Anikan and Obi Wan take on an evil monster without lightsabers. Just to catch Dooku.

If CN actually showed something during that time other than encores, then I'd mourn the loss of that hour. But as things are now, no.

Anyway, nothing lasts forever; if CN produces or acquires somthing huge that they're sure is going to rake in serious ratings jack, they'll put that hour back. Believe it.

Well 10:00 PM hour is now gone, I would feel better if Johnny Test wasn't the transition show into [as] on Mon-Wed, honestly, but eh, it giving the network ratings, despite my stance, that and I'm still at work closing on the weekdays so, no skin off my back. Beside HHT will be doing that TDI marathon thing, and now no encore of TSS and SW:CW at the 10 spot on YAH, it not a major lost since TDI season 1 is done and there is no need to do air last week episode and the new episode of the night, that and it was kind of silly of YAH to repeat the shows when they could have used that spot for other shows.

I'm definitely looking foreword to the Looney Tunes marathon. I saw a commercial for it earlier today and I became even more excited for it. I'll also be looking foreword to the new episodes of Pokemon and Batman: Brave and the Bold. I'll probably catch some repeats of shows like 6Teen and Brave and the Bold during the week.

I saw the Looney Tunes commercial today. It brings back some good, cozy memories of me sitting as a kid late night watching Acme Hour or the Bugs and Daffy Show. I don't recall seeing these epic statues in bumps before (maybe it was because I didn't have cable for a brief period in early 2004), but they're pretty cool. I wonder why they didn't use Noods for the commercial though. Anyways, watching this commercial made me feel like Cartoon Network feels that Looney Tunes never left the network. It's been so long since Looney Tunes have aired on the network, but seeing the commercial, I felt like the shorts have always belonged on Cartoon Network in the first place.

Sinbad wasn't a premiere, CN aired that years ago. Garfield won't have a talkback, due to it being live-action, but Open Season most likely will (which I'm actually looking forward to)

While it's true that it is a live-action movie, it at least has a connection to a cartoon series, a comic strip and another series that will air on CN next year. So I wouldn't get as upset with it airing as something like Adventures in Babysitting airing that has no connection to animation or comics what so ever. I don't really mind if live-action is played on CN since it's easy to just not watch those movies if I don't want to.

I will be checking Cartoon Network tomorow with their Looney Toons marathon. But here in New York, they have some competition. Since 1996 WPIX always shows a Honeymooners marathon and I always check that out.

I will check them both out, but I will not miss the episode when they buy a television set nor the episodes when Norton teaches Ralph to dance and play golf, those are classics, I am not missing for anything.

They have a morning CN intro know? They've always had one since the Nood era started. Two Noods bring in the color bar and the CN logo and started dancing to their success.

Well both movies both count as fail in my opinion. It's only a matter of time until CN picks up Open Season 2 or if they want more girly-girl live-action flicks ala Adventures in Babysitting, CN might pick up Bratz.

but bratz is dead

He was talking about the live action Bratz (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0804452/) movie that was released in 2007. Geez! Don't give them any ideas, DC!

Given that CN's previous attempts at girl blocks, Miguzi and Totally Atomic!, both failed big time, I wouldn't count on it.

There's also the little matter of all Bratz properties being frozen in limbo due to Mattel's lawsuit.

It wasn't? Actually, Totally Atomic was more of a girl's block than Miguzi was.

Pseudo being similar. Meaning, if CN were to try a girl block again, I would want it to be similar to Miguzi.

Pseudo being similar.

Pseudo means phony, not similar.

Pseudo can also mean its trying to be something, but it's not it.

Since its' inception. CN created Miguzi to be a kinder, gentler Toonami with more girl-friendly action shows like Totally Spies! and Code: LYOKO.

Did anyone see rap this morning after the morning CN intro? It was the full 2 minute one that describes the shows more.

Is that video called "Are You CN This" the intro? I thought it was just a music video...
